  1. Is it just me, or am I out of line here? The exact same question does not need to be posed under multiple forum headings by the same person at the same time. I personally check current threads(I'm guessing most others do also), it lists recent posts there regardless of where it's posted. GAHHHHHHHH
  2. Juicing is very good. You aren't gonna get much protien that way, but it's definitely a better way to get your vitamins & such than taking pills. It's also much more expensive and a aim in the rear.
  3. Believe me, if you are tipping them properly, they don't give a damn what you are drinking.
  4. before I volunteer. you are female, Right?
  5. I agree, the swelling has reduced. Keep in mind, liquid really won't make you feel full now. But if you give it a few minutes after drinking a protien shake the protien should satiate your hunger.
  6. It will take longer than you are use to. Remember you are not getting all the nutrition your body is use to. The amount of nutrients your body can put toward healing is therefore limited.
  7. Ask him if he'd say that to Matt Hughes from the UFC. He does yoga & Pilates. He swears by them.
  8. Ha ha ha. Skinny people would never understand this one.
  9. Isn't its astounding how something that looks so simple can find muscles you didn't know you even had?
  10. I am 9weeks out, haven't had anything for acid except zantac150. And then I only took those twice.
  11. I got the Chike sampler last week, I've tried all but the vanilla(I hate vanilla) and to be honest there are some things I like about Chike. It doesn't foam up like the others do in my Blender Bottle, it's a high protien Meal Replacement with tons of Vitamins & minerals rather than just a protien shake, & they don't smell bad either. To me the banana flavor taste like banana pudding. The chocolate isn't bad either, but not really impressive The other flavors, well, in my opinion were just horrible. The orangecreme didn't sound to appealing to me and I was right. The strawberry(had some sot of cream or something) flavor I was tempted to pour down the sink. Oh wait I forgot about their coffee, that wasn't bad I guess, I don't really like coffee but it didn't make me want to throw it out either. So I can give a thumbs up to Chike for the banana & their chocolate. But that's the only two flavors I will be purchasing from hem in the future.
  12. Parker's Dad, I completely interstate where you are coming from, I had a similar problem w/one of my children's grand parents. My problem was not the food they we're allowing it was the what they were allowing my daughter to dress and wear make up in public. I'm pretty conservative & believe that little girls should look like little girls. I tried every way I could to reason with this woman & she just wouldn't listen. Then I tried demanding & I got attitude. So finally I had to go to the extreme & disallowed any communication with this grandparent & all visits to her house were banned. Believe me the first 3 months were pure hell, I was constantly hearing about "Grandparents Rights" (there are none) and even had her show up with he police demanding to see my daughter. The officer did his best to try to talk me into letting her visit, but when all was said and done, he turned to her and said "it's his daughter, we can't force him to let you see her). She also consulted an attorney to threaten me with a lawsuit, but she backed down from that one after the attorney told her that I could in turn sue her for harassment & would likely win. At the end of the day, it took about 7 months before she relented & agreed to abide by the standards that were put in place. I really did feel bad for the the period that I kept them apart, but my responsibility as a dad is first to protect my children even if it means causing them some temporary pain to do so.
  13. I think I'll take the advice of the skinny chic
  14. Ahhhhh, the wonders of modern medicine (and Mexican pharmacies) this is never a problem
  15. Did she have the sleeve, RNY, DS? If she is just sleeved she could easily add 1000calories a day to her diet by simply exchanging some of her Water for Meal Replacement shakes. If she had RNY or DS then part of her intestinal tract has been bypassed and the calories would be less effective on her.
  16. Really? You don't by chance happen to have that documented anywhere do you. I know several propel that this would help signifigantly.
  17. You can always stop weightloss even if you can't eat much you can start drinking calories. Excessive weight loss really is not a major concern. I'm only about 2months out, & if I wanted to I could easily pack in 5000 calories in a day by just adding a case of slim fast drinks to my daily diet.
  18. This sounds great, one of my daughters is considerably overweight. I'm hoping my weight loss lights a fire under her deriher. I don't think sleeve is an option for her at this point, and I hope whenever has to go this far. But a few years from now if she still needs it & wants it I'd be more Han willing to assist her with it.
  19. The amazing thing is that most hospitals run on a 3%+- profit margin. So many people don realize that so many people get treatment & never pay for it also a ton of Medicare & Medicaid treatments are done at a loss. Constantly defending frivolous lawsuits cost hospitals a ton of money, even if hey win them all. There are so many things we could do to reduce the cost of healthcare. But that would mean allowing a doctor to make decisions & recommendations without having to worry about getting sued for doing his job. No way that could work... Letting people that invested years into learning how to help people actually just help people. How stupid of an idea is that?
