  1. I too considered all of these. I didn't actually decide on the sleeve as much as I eliminated the lap and and pilication as options as I learned more about them. Ther is actually a section her for people who have had the band revised to the sleeve. You should check out that area. Also I'll post a link to a thread regarding plication that also might interest you. http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/45505-plication/
  2. Well, my coordinator took a couple of us out for tortilla soup(basicly tomatoe soup w/a few spices) 2days after surgery. It was considered ok in my 10 day clear liquid phase. So IMO you'd be fine.
  3. 9lbs in 8 days? How fast did you expect this to happen?
  4. I am never gonna look at a woman again without wondering what kind of contraption she is using under her cloths & what she would look like if it wasnt there.
  5. Just google Torani sugar free. Several places on line offer them. And you can buy direct
  6. You look Great, soon we get the bikini pic, right?
  7. I wonder about substituting PB2 for the Peanut Butter.
  8. Ideally, sodas are not in your best interest for numerous reasons. However in small amounts after letting most of the carbonation die out. It probably isn't a major problem. I have had one Dr. Pepper post-op, didn't even let the carbonation die down, I can say, sodas just aren't appealing to me anymore.
  9. It can be different for different poeple. But one definable sign is lots of gas that will clear a room.
  10. I use the Premier Protein bars. They are high in calories. But they also pack in a lot of protien. 280-290 calories for 30gram protien. Probably a good idea to cut these in half.
  11. 07/28/12 YEEEEEE HAWWWW!!!!!! Scale today reads 229! I'm still way below my water intake so I'm gonna add 1/2 gal of water weight to the scale again. So I'm reporting 233. Holy Cow, I've lost 7 pounds this week! This is unreal. Side Note: the reason I'm not getting my water like I should is because about 2 weeks ago I had a severe Gout attack then strained the achillles tendon in my other foot, while trying to get home I managed to strain a muscle in the Gout foot too. So I've been stuck on the couch for 2 weeks having to crawl to the bathroom. So I guess you can see why drinking a lot of water has not been very appealing.
  12. Almost everybody, but don't worry, you'll have the opposite problem soon.
  13. It is typical to regain up to 10% of what you lose. That being said, you can regain all of your weight and then some. This would take some some pretty serious self sabotage. The type that only extensive psychological treatment can help.
  14. Probably not gonna happen, besides LT1002 just became a real person to me. I'm still trying to digest that.
  15. It depends on what your pre-op diet is. Gatorade is considered a clear liquid. However Gatorade G2 would be a better choice.
  16. Ha ha, this is the 1000th post in this thread:D
