  2. I'm just a pass exactly where you are and I'm not even out of the woods yet. Believe me it a slow process, I hated eating. As of late I've learned to take it slow, even thought you doctor says you can start eating certain things I learned you can't just dive in. Baby-steps it will get better little by little.

  6. Your research and rambling is greatly appreciated. I keep myself on no carbs but lately I fell in love with stir-fry and started using it in sauces. Thanks now I won't freak out to much
  7. Nah I haven't been using it, I'm so use to watching my intake, already but I'm definitely checking that out thanks!!
  8. Hi, I'm 3 months out and I stir-fry quite a bit. I'm freaking out over my slight use of corn starch, because I follow a low carb diet. I use about a teaspoon in water to thick sauces. I just want to know if this is detrimental to my weight loss and if anyone else uses it.
  9. I feel your pain. Its so gross, especially chicken. I happen to love beef though. Eggs yuck unless they are scrambled with veggie cheese. Tuna was so good pre-op now

  15. Man I've been thru close to the same thing. You have to be happy at what life give you sometimes. Don't look and her leaving as a bad thing. Think off it as you dodging a bullet, use it as motivation and become something epic. You deserve the best and no one gives that better than God and yourself. So stay focused and you'll be ight.
  16. I feel you on this. I'm not regretting having surgery but I just wanna be normal. I'm tired of the sick feeling of eating. Sometimes I don't even want to eat just cause I know how icky it feels. I'm tired of puree food, but I was tired of being overweight much more. So @ 3 weeks the optimism of becoming normal after 6-8 weeks is helping me suck it up. But omg it feels so terrible at times, I don't like being weak or taking it this slow, but I'm getting thru. I just wrote cause I can relate, but don't regret you'll get thru. We did something good for ourselves, I'm not giving up so please don't give in to regret. Fight thru.
  17. I wasn't hard when they pulled it out, but then again I wasn't hard for like little under a week after either. My love muscle just regained strength a couple days ago.
  18. I'm 3days post-op. Ahhh its sucks big time, if you've never had surgery cause surgery is an experience in its self. But its getting better for me, just take you time and don't feel bad cause your body just need to adjust.
  19. Yes it's finally here after months of running from dr office to office. To now I'm down 40 and going in tomorrow. Wish all of you the best!!!!
