Meat Is So Gross. Yuck.

I've always ate meat and had no problem until after I was sleeved. Was sleeved 9/12 and since then everytime I eat meat including all seafood, I feel like vomitting. It's the taste and I don't like the way it feels in my mouth. This is so weird. What else can I do to get my protein in as I think I might become a vegetarian with all this.

Well, ounce per ounce, kale has more protein than beef. Eat a variety of green leafy veggies and 1 cup of beans (change them up) every day to get your protein in.

Cottage cheese, any kind of cheese, tuna

some of my favorites of protein other than "meat" are GREEK yogurt, cottage cheese, tuna, cheese, string cheese, Peanut Butter, non fat milk, eggs, Beans, and of course our powdered whey Protein Drink mix. good luck. :)

I feel your pain. Its so gross, especially chicken. I happen to love beef though. Eggs yuck unless they are scrambled with veggie cheese. Tuna was so good pre-op now -_-

Eggs was yucky for me too. I will try the tuna.
