  1. On day 11 here! I literally laughed out loud. Congrats on your wieght loss. That is truly amazing.
  2. I am on day 6. And I can say it does get slightly easier. I feel more emotionally in control than I did the first few days. I have been tempted to cheat but I haven't. I just keep reminding myself that I want a small shrunken liver. LOL We can do this!
  3. I am on day 4 too! We must have the same surgery date, August 29. I was just coming on here to look for some support. It is way harder than I expected. I wasn't thinking I would be this hungry all of the time. We can do this! 4 days down 10 to go! Melissa
  4. Thanks I would have never thought about that. She says she has faxed it everytime. I will def. call the insurance and get an e-mail address. The office is KC Bariatric. This is the only doc in Kansas City that my insurance is in network with. *sigh* Thanks again! Melissa
  5. Hi I am new here! I am so frustrated with my insurance/dr's office I could cry. I have jumped through all the hoops(psych appt, egd, etc). About a month ago my case was submitted to the insurance or was it? My insurance is saying they have never received anything in relation to my surgery. My case manager at the Dr office says she has submitted it three times. My insurance company says that my case manager should have a pending authorization number but when I ask her for it she doesn't have it. Has this happened to anyone? What else can I do? Thanks and nice to meet you all Melissa
