  2. If you are crazy then so am I! I would never swallow at this stage, I'm way too scared of doing that. However, I too, needed to crunch just once!!! LOL

  5. I don't understand what all this talk is about slider food and drinking pushing it down?????? Confused. Don't know what slider food is.
  6. I received alot of criticism for having this surgery with a bmi of 31.8. However, I wanted to lose the weight and keep it off and not feel like I'm starving all the time. When I was cutting back to 1200 calories to lose weight I had headaches and the shakes all the time. I'm not eating near 1200 calories now and I haven't had a headache or shakes. It's a miracle.

  8. I've recently started putting splenda back in my decaf tea again and went from never being hungry to feeling like I've started to get more hungry and have cravings. I don't know if it's in my head or the splenda. Im also pre period and font know if thats affecting me. Please share with me' what you know on this topic.

  10. I'm going on my 11th day post op and no bowel movement. Should I worry? I didn't worry with clear liquids but now I've been on protein shakes for a couple days so you would think something would be happening.
  11. I'm a lower bmi. My weight hovered around 185 mostly. However , I started this journey at 192 due to overindulging at the holidays. I was sleeved on the 20th and I've lost 12 pounds in 10 days.
  12. If you chew it alot you really don't actually swallow anything it just dissolves like. I chew and suck alot on it.

  16. I know how you feel. That's exactly how I felt. Now I feel like I'm finally SAFE inside somebody else's wonderful body. It's been a rough life but I have a feeling it's on its way UP!!
  17. Atkins ready made Dark chocolate or Milk Choclate. Open carton pour in blender. Add one Scoop of Amp choc Protein powder and a squirt of Hersheys sugar free Chocolate syrup. 35 g of protein per shake It's oh so yummy!!!!!!!!!!

  19. From everything I've learned, its much too soon for mashed potatoes. Remember this...Just because It will go down ok doesnt me its safe right now. From what I understand , your stomach is trying to heal and these first 4 weeks are CRUICAL. Its not worth a bite of mashed potatoes. I would error on the side of caution.
  20. I had Dr Kelly. He is amazing. His resume checks out. Tell your friend to look at their resumes and call the places and verify their education. It pays to be safe.

  22. I'm only 8 days post op and I'm told only walking right now for 30-60 minutes a day.

  24. You have a sleeve...trust me'! I thought the same thing! I felt like a bottomless pit drinking clear liquids!!! I could drink all day! But low and behold, my first day with a chocolate protein shake..., I swear it took me' 6 hours to get it down!!!!
