  3. I've lost 67 pounds and still have about 40 to go. It is alot of hard work One of the things that makes me mad people think all we do is get the band and thats that..but its not we have to still work our booty off and battle food. The only difference is we have a tool. I am very grateful for the chance to have this surgery. I get mad at times because I feel like I should be further along but you know I realize I should be proud of where I am...so to say We are all here for ya and please ask any questions you have

  10. Hey there...I got food stuck once and it actually caused me to vomit...then I had to go get fluid removed because I couldn't keep anything down from my tummy being swollen...however this was because I'll admit I took way to big a bite of my food. Just make sure you chew your food and you'll be A ok!

  17. I've read many different things and now I am just wondering how many days a week you work out and for how long? I try and get at least 3 but really need to increase that. I figured I'd just ask around and see what is the most common one. Happy 4th to everyone!
  18. As long as you can keep fluids down and it doesn't hurt you should be ok however if you just don't feel it and don't feel right def get some removed. I had my band too tight once and I couldn't barely get water down....Hope this helps have a great day!

  22. It's all about baby steps and I finally reached a simple minor goal. That was to get at least a one workout this weekend because I tend to skip the entire weekend all together well I did it!. I worked out for 40 mins and I feel pretty darn good about it! I think my negativity and problem is wanting it all right now and over doing it. So I figured babysteps and I will get there in due time. Slow and steady wins the race. I feel good and thats all that matters so Keep on Keeping on!!
  23. :)Geat job!! Keep up the great work!
  24. Hi there nice to meet you...Congrats on the weightloss your doing great! You will def get to the green zone but I understand your frustration I get that way myself! I am with you the best way to succeed is with friends! Good luck
  25. Well, Hello to you that is currently reading this. My name is Kanda and I am 31 married with one son. I had my lapband on October 27th and have lost 67 pounds. Lately, I have been stuck in a rut but today I wake up and realize life is great and I will succeed. I am hoping to find others that want some buddies no matter where we live because lets face it...we are the only one's that know what its like going thru this whole ordeal. Our struggles and our positives. I live in Colorado but am from Texas. I have to say even tho lately I've been sorta down...This is the best thing I have done for myself. I suffer from PCOS so that does not help when trying to lose weight. anyway I hope to meet people that just want to vent or be cheered on so Good luck to all of us!!
