Buddies Apply Here!

Well, Hello to you that is currently reading this. My name is Kanda and I am 31 married with one son. I had my lapband on October 27th and have lost 67 pounds. Lately, I have been stuck in a rut but today I wake up and realize life is great and I will succeed. I am hoping to find others that want some buddies no matter where we live because lets face it...we are the only one's that know what its like going thru this whole ordeal. Our struggles and our positives. I live in Colorado but am from Texas. I have to say even tho lately I've been sorta down...This is the best thing I have done for myself. I suffer from PCOS so that does not help when trying to lose weight. anyway I hope to meet people that just want to vent or be cheered on so Good luck to all of us!!

I would love to have a buddy in this venture. I started at 262 last May and am now 214 and stuck. So a little exchange of support might help us both! I have only had one fill. The dr. had a hard time finding the port and he cancelled my appointment for emergencies he had. Frustrated with that, but I am going in one Weds for my 2nd fill. I have 2cc right now and not feeling much restriction. Not in the green zone...can't wait for that! Have a good day! Cathy

Hello, I too am looking for buddies to talk to, get and give encouragement to. I live in Illinois. My surgery is set for 7-20-12 and I will be off from work 4 - 6 wks depending how fast I bounce back. I have to be 100 % before I come back do to lifting and running around and such. I work in a Hosp Cafe and I am glad I will be home for sometime away from all that food. This way I will be in a routine before going back.

Happy 4th of July!!
