  3. Hi y’all..Hope everyone is having a great day. I’m 3 weeks out just wondering if y’all have any discomfort when drinking protein shakes?? I can take about 5 sips then my stomach just starts cramping like lactose cramps. I drink premier protein but this past week it just feels like they r so thick and my stomach is like NOPE. Any suggestions on what else I can drink and will this continue once I start actually eating?? Right now I’m n the puréed diet but I eat like 3 bits and I’m done. I’m just worried about getting in my protein.

  5. Hi I had a lapband to sleeve revision surgery on 6/15. I feel ok just tired. I’ve read others comment on here and I’m exactly the same it takes me all day to get in my protein. The only problem I’m having off and on is right side pain. It comes and goes. I’m not sure if it gas pains or what. It feels like a catch or a bad cramp then it will just go away. Have any of y’all experienced this??
  6. Hi...I had gastric sleeve surgery on June 14th and I’ve done really good but I woke up yesterday with right side pain. I thought at 1st it was the way I slept but it has continued to bother me yesterday and today. I’ve taken gas-x and walked thinking it was trapped gas but I’m just not sure. The pain feels like a cramp in my side after you would run or walk along way. It close to one of my incision so I’m thinking it’s normal. Have any of y’all had this type of pain before??
  7. I take 100mcg of synthroid and my primary dr said no problem but my thyroid could be the reason I'm not losing. Trying to get it regulated.
  8. I've done my research on it but I was just kind of scared to take it with the lap band.
  9. I'm the same way. I was banded on May 18th and have only lost. 10 lbs. I'm going for my 3rd fill next week. I get really discouraged when my sisters point out that I haven't lost that much for what I paid for. I was self pay. I get really tired of hearing that. That's why I only told my immediate family. Some times I wished I would of told no one.
  10. Has anybody heard of Raspberry Ketones? I have a friend in my workout group that is taking it and is losing weight like crazy. It's all natural. I was wondering can we take anything like that with the band...I'm 3 months banded and have only lost 10 lbs. work out no less than 4 times a week and walks everyday. I've lost inches but just wondering if I could take something to jump start.
  11. I'm sooo proud of everybody. I was banded on 5/18/12 and I havent lost anything since my surgery. I've had 2 fills and no restriction. I lost 11 lbs from pre-op and I exercise just about every day or at least I go swimming everyday. But every time I get on the scale NOTHING happens. I don't fill like I eat that much at all. What am I doing wrong? My dr said it will get better once I get restriction. I can see a little bit if difference in my clothes so I guess I'm losing inches. I hope so...
  12. I had my surgery on May 18 and I have still have not told anybody. The only ones that know is my husband, mom, and sisters. I don't feel like its anybody else is business. I live in a big gossip town. I think it's just how you feel.

  14. I have started couch to 5 k. And I really enjoy the running part. But is it ok to run/jog. I'm 2 months post op. and what about AB exercises? Does anyone have any suggestions. I sure don't want to mess anything up lol. I've been swimming everyday. Still no weight loss but I can tell in inches.
  15. I don't really have an appetite. I'm going to start measuring and writing it down. This is my usual day of eating...breakfast- oatmeal 1splenda and spray butter, lunch- protein shake, supper-small grilled steak refried beans with cheese. But I dont measure. And I don't get enough water. Thanks for all the support.
  16. I have been feeling drained so bad. I went to the amusement park yesterday with my family and I could barely make it. I was wiped out. I get my protein in everyday but just no energy. I have to make myself get up to go to the gym and talk myself into staying the whole time. I'm going to start adding in fruit. Something has got to give.
  17. I'm month and half post op. I had my first fill on June 19. I was down 10lbs. They put in 4.4cc. I weighed today and I'm up 10 lbs. I'm so mad at myself. I don't understand. I drink my protein and some days I have to make myself eat. We are on vacation right now and I have been walking like crazy. I need help to figure this out. I go back for my 2nd fill on July 17. I'm going to be so embarrassed if I'm up 10 lbs.
  18. How much do they put in the first time?
