I haven't been banded yet but from what ive gathered after surgery there is swelling so some people feel restriction but dome don't depending on you amount of swelling this time between surgery and your first fill is "bandster hell" because once the swelling hoed down you have your appetite back with no restriction so you are basically using will power and learning what and how you can eat everyones body reacts differently to the band I'm hoping I have lost of restriction in the beginning but you wont know until you go through it hope I helped some

  11. I have been having the hardest time finding a Protein drink that I can tolerate(sensitive stomach) that I can use. It had to be really low carb(diabetes), low fat, high in Protien and taste really great...the verdict: I like EAS advantedge carb control protien shakes....now let's just see if I still like them after drinking them for 4 weeks straight( smile) wish me luck

  13. I tend to add people that have similar sitautions to mine. It makes it easy to follow thier post I love to read certian people(shout out to NWGirl)because their post are always very informative, encouraging, and optimistic. so I do add people somtimes if something in the posted really registered with me no one will think your are wierd somedays you need an Army of supporters and somedays it feels good to know how you are feeling is NORMAL...
  14. I notice a lot of people that said they told everyone have loss a lot of weight. Did you tell everyone BEFORE you started being successful or even before your actual surgery date? I think I would shout it from the tallest building if I have lost a large amount of weight I would be so proud but in the begin it's too much outside pressure So did you tell everyone immediately

  16. great minds think a like it would explain so much and the healing process for that surgery is pretty similar takes about the same amount of recovery time from work same food limitation..PRESTO..perfect excuse

  19. My friends & coworkers know I had the scope so my plan is to tell them I'm having surgery to fix my hiatic hernia that was discovered during my scope so it would explain my food changes in the beginning weeks

  22. Yes I'm always more at ease the more I know I think I read everything I can get my hands on
  23. I only told my husband that is enough for me right now my friends & coworkers would be too worried about my surgery and after that they wouldbug me about my weight if I don't lose fast too much pressure. For me
