I bought some to try before my surgery. I like the blue one. The trick is to get them really cold! My kids tasted them and said they taste like powerade! I definitely like them better than those nasty Protein shots! Lol

I'm from around baton rouge and my doctor is drake Bellanger! I will be sleeved this Thursday!!

Well biopsy came back fine so I will have surgery this Thursday!!!

No way are you wrong....but if your tone was wrong then yes. My job presents me opportunity to craft my communication skills. So I'm very in tuned to to e and body language.
Instead of saying "do you mind... " maybe you say "John, we're friends and I need your help. I just had this surgery and folks talk about all this fantastic food. It so hard for me. Do you have any suggestions to help me thru this? I trust your opinion." What you're doing is making your problem his problem and most people LOVE to solve problems....even though they can't.
Funny thing....I do this to my wife all the time. She loves to help fix me.

I was self pay and it was 13 k but I wanted a local surgeon in case of complications down the road. A lot of surgeons refuse wls patients later on so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have that issue. I love dr sartor, he's great and the p&s center is like a hotel not a hospital lol!!

So sorry about the loss of your brother. We are all here for you . Praying for you and your family.

I started my journey at 489. My first consult was back in Dec. of 2011. Between Jan and Sept, I lost 86 pounds on my own by just easting meat and veggies. Surgery weight was 403. I am currently at 279 and feeling great. No regrets! I will actually be volunteering at Fresno Kaiser to talk to people at the first counseling session.

My surgery is may 31 too!! No Pre op diet for me though!! You can do it sleeve sista!! Let's keep in touch!

I can't wait to slow dance with my husband again! We are both on the heavy side and when we dance our bellys get in the way so we turn to the side lol!!
I also want my 6 year old son and 13 year old daughter to be able to put their arms all the way around me when they hug me!!
I cant wait to shop in VS for the first time EVER!!
I'm a Christian singer with two praise bands! I am confident in the gift that God has given me but i stand there worrying about what I look like! I can't wait to be able to lead people into worship without having my weight in my mind!

One thing I wanted was for my son to hug me and be able to touch his hands together (with me in the middle). We were in the grocery store a couple of weeks ago and he did it and even said "look mama." I forgot that was one thing I said before surgery that I wanted, so you reminded me. Thank you (and you brought tears to my eyes for two reasons: 1. reminding me of this small goal and 2. for all of the other things that everyone shared... I totally related to so many, but how beautiful it is to hear what others hearts desire - I wish you all success in this journey!).

Yeahhhh!!!!!! It's finally here! I am a sooner to be sleever! I have to be at the hospital at 6:00am......I guess I better try to get some sleep. BTW, I lost 28 pounds on my two week pre op and I didn't cheat at all, which is a miracle in itself for me..... See you guys on the other side........
