I am almost 9 months out and feel great! One huge thing I would recommend is counseling. I have not kept up with this part of my program and find myself emotionally eating just like I did pre-sleeve

I'm a little more than 15 months and I'm at maintenance. I'm 6' 4" and started at my highest at 427 lbs, now I weigh 192 lbs. Probably some more out there with similiar numbers.

I had my procedure 9 days ago, down 10 pounds from when I was sleeved, and down 46 from the start of the pre open liquid diet.

Surgery April 9 in Mexico. Weight at surgery was 304. Today 257. Feel great.

I am currently at 279 and feeling great. No regrets! I will actually be volunteering at Fresno Kaiser to talk to people at the first counseling session.

Hey, sorry for peaking :P Check out the "men's room". Its a whole section where the guys post, and the ladies lurk, just FYI lol!

Congrats on getting your approval. You're surgery will be here before you know it!

Hey Jared. I'm just over 2 weeks since my surgery and I'm feeling great. I was just over 400 pounds on my last NUT visit...today I'm down over 35 pounds. My doc told me that his male patients tend to have much higher success rate after this surgery. I don't know why that is, but I'm gonna stick to the program because I intend to be successful....and skinny.

started my pre op diet on 4/17 and Weighed in at 420.. had my surgery on 5/17 and wighed 362 and this morning stepped on the scale and down to 341.. I hope I'm not losing too fast.. lol

I start my pre-op diet on the June 5th and have my surgery on June 19th. I am easing into the pre-op diet and have dropped 10 pounds so far, but I do have a question to the guys who have answered the OP's question with one of my own.

Are any of you having any issues with saggy skin and if so, how are you dealing with it? (Jared, I hope I am not hijacking your thread here, but I thought this might be a question that would be on your mind as well.)

I was 310 at my highest and am now at 235. I look at pictures of myself right before, and when I look at them now, I can't believe I let myself get that big. Never again!

Good luck to all the guys out there. I know the women like to talk about the fun of shopping for new clothes for their new bodies, but I have to say I like it too.

I am still on the count down to getting sleeved and you guys are great inspiration. BigJoe I am close to the same lines as you were and hope to get some of the same results.
