I am doing the liquid pre op diet. I start tomorrow. What has been your biggest challenge on the liquid diet?

I was told that sometimes your body mixes up being thirsty with hungry. Next, a lot of post op people said the hunger turned out to be stomach acid and the doctor put them on an anti-acid.

The count down has begun. 14 days 23 hours and 15 minutes left to the big day.

sometimes people are sensitive about their weight so others don't mention it. I have gained 69lbs over the last school year only a few mentioned how much weight I have gained. Others didn't mention it at all which has made me feel much better. Take it as a compliment that they may want to respect your privacy. Or maybe they don't want to acknowledge your success.

I was told to check in at 11:45am for 1:45 pm

I will have a late surgery and I afraid of waiting all day without eating.

I am suppose to have surgery Juy 3rd also. My Dr. put me on my liquid diet starting next week

I waiting for approval. I am suppose to have surgery July 3rd. Dr. appt June 14th and I didn't do my testing yet because of a clericial error. I have BCBS and they are updating their system. I have bari benefits but it is showing I don't in the system. Superivor can see benefits. They called my doctor but I don't think it will be solve by Thursday.

I read someone purchase a children size plate, spoon, and fork to eat.

I am putting together a list that can help us pre-op sleevers choose which Protein shakes we should purchase. Although everyone has different taste buds I still think it could help :wub: If possible please include store, website, or cost of item if you know. Which Protein Shakes are the sweetest? I have a sweet tooth The best protein shakes? your opinion The good protein shakes? The okay protein shakes? The don't do it if you can protein shakes? Thinest shakes easiest to get down right after surgery? Highest protein content? Shakes with the worse after taste? Alternative Shakes? Protein bullets?
