  1. Congratulations. I know how you feel . I am down 107 lbs and now I think my stomach is huge. It takes a while for our brains to catch up to what we actually look like.
  2. A stall at three weeks is very common . Keep up the good work and the scale will move. Try not to weigh yourself more than once a week.
  3. I would talk to your doctor. In my opinion fasting at this stage of the game is not a good idea, you could become dehydrated and you need the protein for healing.
  4. 1. Blood pressure back to normal 2. No longer diabetic 3. Can go up a flight of stairs and not be winded 4. Can buy clothes in the women's dept, no more plus sizes 5. Can ride my bike
  5. I have told a lot of people about my surgery but I tend to have a bit of a big mouth. It is perfectly ok if you choose not to tell people it is your choice. You can simply tell them you are watching what you eat and exercising. Good luck on this incredible journey.
  6. I had no pain after the surgery
  7. Nice idea. Whst I did was make a paperclip chain for each pound I have lost.

  12. The weight will come off. I know its hard to believe but it will. I am down 105 lbs a year after surgery

  17. I was trying to respond to the 5:2 diet thread. How do you send a message to Alex? I'm not sure what constitutes a veteran either. I am a year out..
  18. I tried to respond to a thread in the veterans forum and it said I do not have enough posts to post in this forum. How can I get around this.
