Morning gals My phone woke me up at 10:30 and I felt guilty so I got up, I could have slept til noon. I have to do it all over again at 3. UGH I am just praying for it all to turn around, I just don't really need anything else on my plate right now and this is a big one. Terry - no have not heard, he said it would probably be this week, he was going to shoot for the end of last but he didn't think that was going to happen. Well I felt skinny yesterday but bloated last night and guess I know why - tom is a week early. So I am not even going near the scale this am. LOL

Well gals, I screwed up, I said flights from vegas are always early here when my mom comes... well one of the connector flights was running late (an hour actually) which delayed the flight only by 1/2 hr. so they would have been here early... so I am just getting in from the airport and had to check in. I went to get ds script filled today and Insurance is saying DENIED/NOT COVERED! Are you kidding me.. .he couldn't tell me they don't have insurance. I just got state insurance and didn't add the kids because they had insurance. I left him a message. who knows when I'll hear from him, but he didn't have any problems coming over this morning for a little brunch!!! (what good brunch it was ... I have to stop thinking with my parts!) I am so ticked off, $200 if I paid for it - so I called the Dr. and asked about over the counter for a 4 year old and explained and they had one similar for $8. Both the kids have Asthma - what the F* am I going to do if we have to go to the dr/hospital? We were just there on 9/10. This is the last straw. I am just afraid they are going to lower my support and it is going to be a huge war, but if I don't get health insurance I need to do something Tuesday! I was just so ticked off earlier. I know it has to get better, it has been a long year... Yes 1 year today from the horrible accident that changed my life forever. anyway, I'm off to bed, it is 2am here and I'm falling over

I put the shorts on, still a little snug but I'm wearing them, they give me a little muffin top but they fit and I did not have to lie down to get them on.... YIPEE ... slow and steady I have decided today... plastic surgeon... here I come

Terry - that is very odd, since that is not what I typed, and doesn't even make sense... well off to get ds, i got laundry, dishes showered and then home to finish up and go to work..

I guess eggplant is similar to zuccinni but i cook them different. I like them both. I just called my cousin to check in on her. I am sure she will be so happy.... she was upset because she gained a lb, i told her that happens right after surgery - gas - bloating... I asked if she was drinking tons of water, she said she was drinking it. I went through 6 months of therapy and took the time to rid my life of things... beer ... sweets..soda ... drinking water before surgery. But I remember when I would freak over the scale, and now I say, I still look every day but if I gain, drink more water, go for a walk... get off my butt and get rid of it! what a difference in attitude. Once it starts falling off her she will be so happy

I have a pr 18 shorts. I promise you I got them last time I weighed 180 and they are really a size 14. I am very comfortably wearing 16's and Yes, I can get these shorts on but I am squeezed into them. I'm going to try them on again this am - to see if they fit any different. I'll keep you posted. My b-day is March 12... that is funny my sister violets bdays are in July. Most of my friends are either in March or in July. I have 7bdays between july 1 - 5.... no wonder why i like you gals so much LOL

Morning gals I had a horrible night sleep. i live a block down from volunteer fire dept.... and they were busy last night. all the way up to 6:30 this am. The stupid dog behind me was out barking his brains out at 5 am and then had to get up with dd. I feel bad but I think I'm going to drop ds off at the sitter for the morning so I can sleep, I have my 10hr day and then have to got to the airport to pick up my aunt & uncle at 12:30 so I won't even be home until 1:30. i am holding steady at 212. I feel pretty good, lost another inch in my waist and hips. I need to get to the gym regularly again. this week was just crazy for some reason and I am just beat, it is not always easy to get ds ready and there with me and if i drop him off at the sitter too late it just throws me off. Next week I need to make a plan and stick to it. OMG now my dog is out there barking because my other neighbors puppy is trying to play across the fence.......

Hi Chantay ... welcome aboard Amanda - very nice name - I am so sorry to hear of the mess you are in... but it is all about the money over here. shoot, I would love to take a day trip if I had the cash. I love VA/MD and would love to meet you and help. Another good thing... have any of you been watching the news about that poor woman who died at the airport. They arrested her because she was freaking because they would not let her board the plane? They are being crusified (sp) for arresting, cuffing her for being upset about that. Ok, a terrorist because she missed her plane? I don't think so... Eggplant.... well I don't know if it really has much flavor, but Eggplant parm is breaded ....cooked like chicken parm (I bake it and not fry) and has sauce and mozz cheese on it... YUMMY I love sauce. It is not as thick as chicken parm but has the same taste. Amanda, one of my best friends is from Ireland and i got her hooked on it. It is funny the veggies she has tried with me that freaked her out... she is a meat & potatoe gal all the way. Well, I went to the jewelery party and survived. My mom got me a necklace with her commission - so i'm excited. I'm off to bed. my dd is up and has a horrible stomach ache so i'm going to let her sleep with me

you guys are all doing so great. we went to olive garden for lunch, i had eggplant parm and salad, picked out the lettuce and tomatoe, the rest of the junk i was having issues with and only got the lunch size eggplant (2 very small pcs) and didn't get any pasta. Was very full and it was good. Well, I'm off to the jewelery party... fun fun fun

Terry - you are right, I am super sensative to what other people think about me. All my life this same psycho family would say you are fat, i'll give you a penny for every lb you lose. This started at 6 years old! and continued all my life... you are a bad mother... you this you that...They are insane and drank way too much, but these are my memories.. and always trying to please them and it never being enough... I thank you for such kind words and I hope I can get my self esteem back so I can so I can move on and truely be happy. And not set animials on fire! LOL

Morning violets. I am just getting up and going. What a rough day yesterday. My fav great aunt is not doing well and I went to see her. Then of course her son who thinks he is better than everyone in the world made me feel like crap about telling everyone how she was when i got there. So, needless to say i was so upset by his stupidness that I had the worst migrane I've had in years. I broke down last night when I got home from work and took 1 excedrine. I was afraid to take it because they are harsh on your stomach, but I figured what the heck, if I didn't do something soon i was going to be throwing up which would be much worse. (I lived with these headaches for years of being sick) Anyway, I'm better this am and it didn't hurt my stomach. I want to go over and visit my aunt but i don't want to run into my cousin, I just can't deal with him right now. Anyway... Laura - I can eat chicken tenders but I usually dip them in something (usually hot sauce), I can do ground turkey and beef if I put something moist on/in it, but the last few times I cooked chicken I have not had a problem with PB. It is funny how I was thinking the same thing. Deli turkey is the most evil to me. I can eat pepperoni and salami with no issues, I don't get it either. well I'm going to drink my coffee

Tracy - anything you would do with beef you can do with turkey. I just made a pot of turkey/black bean chili the other day. I make turkey burgers, (I usually season - sometimes mix in onions, sprinkle with flavor stuff, cheese hotsauce...) turkey taco's for the kids Taco seasoned and make a salad with it. You name it. I found some I l like and never get beef anymore. I have had 2 protein shakes today - so I actually lost a lb this am. I don't know how after the 2 dishes of ice cream and the large bowl of chili and 1/4 bag of sunchips.... go figure. I do need to get rid of the bloat = so i'll be good for a few days because I don't feel like I've lost. go figure

Haydee, we posted at the same time, I too am frustrated but you are so right, I find that my busy life makes it almost hard to cook and do the things we want to do. Hang tight, you are maintaining so that means you are not gaining and you are still 50lbs less than you were. You guys remember how mental I was in the beginning about the scale and being nuts, I've come a long way. LOL hang strong.

Hi ladies - well i blew off the gym, late start and was going to come home and mow the lawn, which really needs it and would have been good exercise for the day, lawn mower is dead and I just paid $120 to have it fixed, pisses me off because I was going to get a new one for abou $175 and they all said, no don't do it, get it fixed, it is only a few years old, you don't have the money, well now I wasted $120 of that money to have used it 2 times... ok 2 1/2 because it just died in the middle of it the last time I used it. and i STILL need a new one. I'm going to shower, my aunt is in the hospital and her lungs are filling up with fluid, she had heart surgery a year ago but they say it is failing and that is why her lungs are filling up. Kind of scary, gram had heart issues too and so did her other sister. She is my favorite, so I need to find time to go see her with all my running. HOLD IT TOGETHER.... I'm going to have to beat into my head going in there. I love her to pieces as my ds would say. Her husband passed a year ago Sept 23 he was my favorite too.

Morning gals I am not even going to shower this am, i'm getting dressed and hitting the gym before I do anything else. My stomach is still a mess but much better, I am not taking any more antibiotics. Michelle - it is a head game. Here is what I do. Once a month I do 2 shakes a day and 1 salad with 3oz meat and cheese. I don't normally do it for more than 4-5 days, it is a jumpstart but I honestly don't think it is good to do long term. I am actually going to do it this week, starting today... I think for me it helps me get back to reality and focus on eating healthy after to keep off and maintain what I've lost, and I need that right now, I'm out of control from being sick too. Not really eating much the last few days has really screwed me up. I am so ready for my 2nd fill. I have 1cc in my band and I need a tiny bit more. I can't wait until the 16th for my reality check (fill) so I can get back on track. I also can't wait to start working days (PRAY FOR THAT) so I can be home cooking and not cooking at the pizza shop. I had my first pc of pizza that I could eat the other day, I wish it got stuck!!!!! I have to cut it so very tiny, like for a toddler but I can eat it. Well, off to they gym before I don't want to go.

Man ... Julie Andrews looks fantastic for 72 sorry had to say that, they just did celeb bdays. I am off to bed. I just ate a shit loat of sunchips. My stomach is rumbling already (or still) Tomorrow I'm doing a 3 day round of shakes and salads. I need to get rid of this bloat. have not gained an ounce but I feel so full of air. TracyKS - my nails are just peeling right off too. painfully, but they are growing in thicker so I hope there is an end to that. The shampoo I use has helped and all the shaked I did for a while, I am down to a reasonable amount of hair loss. I like your new pic in your signature
