  2. that I don't know what it feels like to be "satisfied" without being "stuffed". I just had my first fill on Tuesday (2 cc) and am starting to freak out because I think I'm still hungry. But I think I just don't know how to be "satisfied". Boo.

  12. Onto almost all normal foods, 20.3 lbs down, smaller pants AND I had to tighten my bra all the way!!! Woot!
  13. Ack! Apparently I'm slow. skkcs, where is that group? I can't find it.
  14. Lortab elixir, until about day 5, but I only took it about twice a day.
  15. I've had my FB for about a month, but I just signed up for Premium after reading this post! I'm already engrossed in all the reports!!
  16. The first 24 hours was horrible for me. HORRIBLE shoulder pain and back pain from all the gas, I was ready to have it taken out! It does pass and it will get better. Hang in there and don't hesitate to take your pain meds when you need them. I used a heating pad, both on my back/shoulders AND on my stomach as my nurse told me it helps with the gas. I'm 10 days post-op and I feel pretty darn good! I called my mom crying one night about 5 days after surgery because I was so frustrated that I was having such a hard time. I've had 2 c-sections and I felt like I did MUCH better with those (where you stay in the hospital for 2 days) than I did with the band, which was outpatient for me. She said: when you have a c-section, they cut you open take the baby out and sew you up. What you had done, they cut you open - 5 times - moved your liver, repaired a hernia, strapped a band on your stomach, put your liver back and closed you up - 5 times. It's bound to be a little rougher. It made sense to me and I lightened up on myself a lot. It's overwhelming in the beginning, but I promise it will get better.
  17. Good luck today meemee!!
  18. Newbie here! DOS 3/12/12, down 19.8 since I started the pre-op diet!
  19. I've found that anytime I've been under anesthesia and/or on pain meds, my bladder is slow to respond. I've had 2 c-sections and lap band and have had the same problem every time.
  20. Just wanted to say hi. I'm just over a week post-op, DOS was 3/12/12. I started at 287.7 the day I began my LSD and am currently at 268.8. Of course, I'm thrilled! If only I could eat something that required chewing! lol I'm soooooooo ready for purees Friday. Anyways, Hi!
