  3. All of my vitamins are VitaFusion gummies. I take multis, calcium + D3, omega 3, B12, vit C. I also take Biotin caps. My nutritionist recommended the gummies to me after a bad experience with the chewable forms. The only real difference between the gummies and the chewables, are the calories and the ability to swallow without a near death experience! LOL!

  5. I just started this morning! It was so great. I actually thought I didn't work hard enough until I won't shopping with my sister and my legs felt like lead! LOL! Back on the exercise train in the morning! Stay with it and keep us posted!
  6. WHOO HOO! Go girl! It's ya birthday! Party like it's ya birthday! Celebrate it ALL! You've earned it!
  7. I use the Syntrax Nectar Medical Unflavored. I mix it with water and a shaker/mix-in packet (think Crystal Light), or fruit and at juice. I could never tolerate the premixed ones or the standard flavors. I have mine re-packaged in individual food supply packets. Message me for details.
  8. Feel free to add me! I just put the app on my new phone and got the barcode scanner! Love it! Thecheermom823

  12. I have so many allergies it's rediculous! I mix my protein in water with a Crystal Light mixer, chicken broth if it's not too hot or some juices. Any other protein I get is from meats so I don't have any reactions!
  13. Agreed, C25K!
  14. I like the Syntrax Nectar Unflavored Medical. There is no taste and it blends well with everything. I buy it on amazon and the shipping is fast.
  15. Well, I am in a hell of my own creation. I was banded on March 23, 2012 and so far I have lost a moderate amount of weight. Everything started out great. I was gung-ho about everything and watching every bit of food that I ate. The past month and a half have proven to be a test of will, and I'm losing! We have had a death in the family, one of our troubled kids went on a bender and stole a car, one of our family soldiers was MIA for 2 weeks in Afghanistan, my car took a dump and I still have be MOM! I have to take my daughter to basketball practice, volleyball practice and have my one year old in tow. I take Photog gigs as they come and still have to get food on the table. I am at my wit's end. I have not been able to get any real exercise in for weeks. All I can think about at this point is how much I'd like to get back on my skates and back on the derby track, or in a pool doing laps! I ACTUALLY MISS MY EXERCISE!!! Not having some sort of release everyday is taking it's toll. How do you guys keep up with your hectic lives and still manage to be compliant? Thanks in advance for your comments and responses! Nicki823
  16. I'm also 2 months out, and the itching does get better. My doctor says it's your tissue getting accustomed to having a foreign object in it. just try not to scratch! hard right?! Rub if you have too, my daughter saw me absently scratching and smacked my hand! Hilarious! Just be mindful of the scratching and you'll be fine.
  17. Ok... So I haven't been on for some time. I have been doing fairly well, all the way up to this week. I have been making horrible choices for the last 2 days. Yesterday, I only had protein with dinner! Everything else was a poor choice. The funny part is, that it was just due to laziness. I didn't feel like cooking, so I didn't. Whoo hoo! Way to stick to the plan right? I need to exercise! Trying to stick to my doctor's orders and not doing anything until May 5th is killing me! Even heavy, I am an active person. I guess I'm just a little depressed that I can't do anything REAL. My activities prior to the surgery included zumba, bellydance, roller skating, stroller skating and roller derby! I miss my sports and dancing! Ok, pity party, table for 1 please! Done now.
