A big shout out today to my surgeon, Dr. Fred Tiesenga for being absolutely amazing. He is so kind and caring. I would recommend him to ANYONE in the Chicago area looking to have this surgery done!

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to everyone! I had my sleeve and had a little bit of trouble with my recovery.. I would like to talk to ALL OF YOU! I don't care if you're grandmas or live far away. I live on the far north side of Chicago, basically almost in Skokie. I couldn't wait the 3 weeks my doctor told me to hold off from having sex. I have been off my birth control pill because it was making me sick. Has anyone ever taken the morning after pill with the sleeve? I just ordered it from my pharmacy and am freaking out. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have never had gas pain/heartburn like this. Any suggestions? I am already taking reglan and zofran. I cannot lie down flat without an extreme pain in my chest. Any advice would be appreciated! -

Mina, I am in the same boat. Well, sort of. I am on my 5 day pre-op diet. Today is day 3. I am holding up well. Aunt Flo decided she wanted to come early so I am craving chocolate hardcore. What protein drink are you using? I haven't been using any so far and I do feel fine but my doctor warned me to start taking something asap. -
