I've got some frozen edamame, I'll have to try it...in a small portion of course!

14 Days And Getting Sick Of Soup!
Soup can get boring. Have you tried different flavors? Can you tolerate cottage cheese, greek yogurt, protein shake made with water? Maybe a sugar free popcicle would help

16 Week Stall?
Tighten up your diet and exercise more/differently. I'm on my 3rd stall and only 10lbs away from MY goal. My body is like, "I'm fine here", while my head says, "No you're not!". Dig deep and refocus. It may take a bit of time, but it will pass. Good Luck!!!

No Regrets, But I Broke Down And Cried Today
We all have bad days. And everything you mentioned does suck! BUT, you have to look on the bright side. You are alive and healthier than before. So what, you have extra skin (as I do too) its the things we go through that make us stronger! Ok, so we are not going to be supermodels...but was that ever the goal? Embrace your beauty AND flaws, because we ALL got em'!

22 Weeks Post Op
I don't know about the stretching thing, some say yes, some say no. If you feel your portions are larger you may want to get back to basics with protein shakes and lots of water and low, low carbs and sugar. And of course portion control and don't snack late (Im still working on that one) that recently helped and it jump started my system and I'm back to losing again P.S. don't forget to move everyday! Exercise is like healthy food and air...you gotta have it to live right!!! Best of Luck! Never Give Up!

Best Thing I Have Ever Done
DebbieDeb you have made great progress so far! Don't give up! I know the mention of exercise can sound like a four letter word, but it is a piece of the weightloss puzzle. I started out slow with walking 20 mins a day 3 days a week. Now, after 6 months I'm running 4 days a week, but that was MY goal. Find YOUR goal and do it (literally write it down and put it on the fridge...I did!) You've got the ultimate tool to help you! Grab a buddy to walk with you. You CAN do this, girl! Stay strong, stay focused.

6 Month Post-Op Results (Drum Roll...)
I did not go in for another sleep study. My boyfriend said I wasn't snoring anymore and/or gasping for air. I also felt rested when I woke up. My sleep apnea was totally weight related. So I guess I lost weight in my throat too! I got a letter from my Dr. saying to discontinue the CPAP so I can turn in my machine and not get charged for it each month...hope it works!

Happy Frustration!
That is awesome! Congrats! I wouldn't fork out the big bucks for clothes until you reach your goal

6 Month Post-Op Results (Drum Roll...)
Well, it's been 6 months since my Gastric Sleeve surgery and what a journey its been! Today at my appointment, the Dr. said I have exceeded expectations and now have a NORMAL BMI of 25 and down 72lbs! I literally started to cry. I couldn't believe that I had actually accomplished my Dr.'s goal! She said that wasn't expected until the 12 month mark or beyond. I personally have 8lbs and one more size to get to, but I KNOW I will get there. Now to focus on completing my first ever 5K next month and continuing to work my a$$ off (literally)! Type 2 Diabetes-GONE! High Blood Pressure-GONE! CPAP/Sleep Apnea-GONE! Insomnia-GONE! Asthma-controlled (only use before running) 16W and 1X-GONE! (rockin' a 6, SM/MED top) Keep striving, keep smiling, keep reaching for your goals!!!

Workout Question
Im not an expert, but I have been told by a trainer and I myself have used both time and intensity during exercise. I use interval training ( ex: walk 5, run 3, walk 3 , run 8, walk 5 , ect...) Just increase your incline or your speed as you can to make new goals. Check out some running apps like 5K Free and Couch to 5K.

Freezing
I'm cold most of the time, but it's a heck of alot better than the ugly sweats!

50 Lbs Down...8 Weeks Out!
Congrats! As long as you keep up your protein, liquids, vitamins, and low impact exercise you should be fine. Your weightloss will go fast, slow, and stall occasionally. Follow dr.s orders and continue to eat smart. Best of luck!

Proud Of Myself
That is a HUGE accomplishment! Pat yourself on the back for that one! It's funny how we change from our minds leading us to what we think we need/want to eat to our stomach saying, "don't even think about putting that in here!".
