  1. Has anyone ever done lipo post surgery? What were your experiences? I am 4 months out and I am thinking about it for the future.
  2. SW 210.5 GW 185 Today's goal is to drink 64 oz of Water and get in 45 grams of Protein. (I had a mental breakdown so I'm going to go by days for a while. Weeks are too overwhelming lol) Good luck all!!!
  3. Thanks for starting this jhansen71. Let's not waste anytime!
  4. I did lose 10lbs this challenge so I'm not crying too hard!
  5. I did not make the goal this go'round. I am 210.5 as of this morning so I'm 5.5 away. Im disappointed I didn't make goal but happy I'm only .6 lbs heavier than last week after the week I've had. I've ate my feelings now it's time to get back on track. 200 here I come!
  6. Just what I was looking for you guys. I have been stressed and I'm thinking about finding a therapist to go see because all that's left is the mental. I can't turn to eating to cope.
  7. I'm having a terrible couple of weeks. All I want to do is stuff my face the past 2-3 weeks. I have not been following any kind of eating plan. I'm eating starches and not getting my water/protein in. I need some encouragement and a swift kick in the pants!
  8. Anyone ever heard of slendermist? It's supposed to be a vitamin/supplement spray that may help decrease cravings. Wondering if there is anything to it.
  9. Best of luck to you. Sending thoughts and prayers for healing for you.
  10. Yeah, moms and family members in general are the only ones with a license to say whatever they want and get away with it or at least they think so! My mom is awesome and always my biggest fan so I'm very blessed in that way. My naysayer happens to be my dad, who I contribute 30-40% of my weight issues to lol! Everyone in my close family knows about my surgery except for him. I have lost 50 lbs since March and he hasn't said so much as a word. And, I know he notices. He has always berated me about my weight since I was 8 years old and he would make me run through our neighborhood with him. He would be down right cruel and tell me I would never find a man and if I did the man would cheat because men desire skinny women. It never helped that I had a weight problem and none of my other now 4 siblings never did. I'm sorry to rant on your rant but it feels good to finally get this off my chest. But as my mama always tells me (my parents divorced 5 years ago after 30 years together) the best revenge is living well. And it's not that I don't love my dad because I surely do, but too often people aren't aware of how their words have the power to change someone's life whether good or bad. I am trying to only put positive speak out.
  11. You look great! I feel the same way. I just don't feel 50lbs lighter. I think for me, part of it is because I have never lost this amount of weight in such a short amount of time.
  12. Update, Last week I bumped back up to 212. Today I was 209.6 Start of challenge 220 Challenge goal is 205 So I've gotta stay focused on the goal. 4.4 lbs in 6 days!
  13. Just sending thoughts of peace and prayers your way.
  14. I guess I have been in a stall over the past week. I've been bouncing back and forth with the same pound or so for a few days. I was 210.8 today so I've got about 9 days to get 5.8 pounds off. I've gotta kick into high-gear. I got on the treadmill today for the first time since 2 weeks after surgery. I'm gonna make a meal plan for this week and try my hardest to stick to it and get in 3 more days off exercise this week. 205 here I come!
  15. I was sleeved 3/13 and I'm down 49 lbs. I could have never gone from 260 to 211 without the sleeve. Last year I did adipex for 6 months and lost 23 pounds and gained it all back in 2 months. I agree with looking at percentages. I started out wanting to lose 100 pounds. I am down 49% of that 100 pounds already! Happy losing!!
  16. Beginning challenge weight-220 Weight last week- 213 Today's weight- 211 Challenge goal- 205 Highest weight- 260 Weight on day of surgery- 250 I've gotta improve in everything this week! Maybe if I behave I can make it to onederland soon!
  17. Although for different reasons, "sliming" or "foaming" is possible with the sleeve. If you eat too fast or too much you may slim, foam, or vomit (or all of the above).
  18. Week three report: Current weight- 212.6 Weekly goal is to stay calm and focus on what's going into my mouth.
  19. Anything you can eat quickly, that does not take up much room in your sleeve allowing you to eat larger quantities without feeling full. They usually don't take lone to digest and flow easily out of the stomach into your intestines allowing you to eat more and more calories. i.e. chips, cookies, candy, crackers, mashed potatoes, ice cream, soft breads, cakes, donuts, etc.

Aww that sux. Hoping that July gets here fast for you. Good luck!
  21. Ditto on everything said about the shots. I like the cytosport whey isolate drinks. They are super syrupy so I mix one 16.9 oz bottle with 16.9 I of water. I think the isopure is too tart and leaves a terrible after taste.
  22. Started at 260 and 214.8 today.
