  5. i think i would disagree . sorry. i started with a high bmi well still am but since surgery i have lost 30 pounds that was 3 months ago. So in my case no i am not loosing faster, And i have a freind who bmi was lower than mine alot and lost 50 the first 3 months. I think it just varies from person to person. only one fact is correct and thats it the weight will come off some faster than other.
  6. 4 months and down 45 is good i would love to be in ur shoes . i have lost 27lbs in the last 3 months and i have a high bmi and work out . So you are doing great .i've lost pounds 4 weeks out of the 12 . we will all make it out of the stalls eventually so keep on doing what you need and it will work out.

  8. Well doc told me to get 120 in carbs and under 30 grams of fat and 1200 calories. The carbs and calories seem too high. On a good day I get about 800 to 900 calories. I use fitness pal I am always under goal except in protein. I exercise 4 to 5 x's a week burning 500 to 800 calories a session. Today makes 10 weeks and still have lost 3 weeks out of the 10.????
  9. i know everyone is usually asking about calories but what about carbs and fat, how many carbs and fat does everyone typically consume a day ?? i know it varies from person to person i wanted to compare what i am eating (slow looser) to others ........
  10. i think everyone is so different i have been having major stalls and was told by the doc friday to up my calories to 1200 at least. that will be tuff considering i was averaging about 800 a day now i need a minimum of 400 more. i will try it for a week and see how it goes ??
  11. the premier was good after a while i switched over to Isopure unflavored i love it after all those pre and post ops of liquids i needed a different taste so every day i have a diet snapple with the isopure and in the morning i put some in with my yogurt only thing is u have to buy a big bucket.

  13. Yes drinking 10 glasses a day,averaging 80 to 100 grams protein.doing a hour of cardio 5xs a week, don't touch sugar and use fitness pal. I average 800 calories a day
  14. Has any one had numerous stalls.I am almost 9 weeks out and have stalled 6 weeks out of the 9 and can't understand why? Don't let the ticker fool you that was mostly pre op. Have lost 23 since surgery. Is this or has this happened to anyone? I am trying to find answers it's frustrating when your excercing. 5Xs a week and eating right to not loose weight
  15. I too have been stalling but work out 4 to 5 times a week for 1 to 2 hours found out today doc said I need 1200 to 1500 calories a day to loose weight I barely get 800. Hopefully trying to up intake will break stall.
  16. When working out is it better to spend more time working out or to burn more calories Example I can walk. 60 minutes burn 300 calories or incline 45 minutes and burn 500.is it time or calories I should worry about???
  17. I get this almost every time I eat.
  18. I know some of you mitte have seen my previous post on forums just thought i would rant and rave a little. I am 6 weeks post op and am doing everything as instructed by my doctors. I lost 20lbs first 2 weeks of surgery the last 4 weeks i have been at a complete stall well not stall cause i have managed to gain 6 lbs back wth!!. I have heard about the dreaded 3 week stall but this has been going on for 4 weeks, i contacted the doctors office and they could not explain why i havent lost. i take to protein as i am suppose to , eat protein first keep in mind i am still only getting about 500 calories a day, I excerice daily .The doc said even a weeks worth of food doesnt add to a pound. I really was hoping to have lost 25-30 lbs by now amd i have a BMI of 54 so i have alot more to lose. i lost 73 lbs on my own pre surgery . Has anyone heard of this ? well i am hoping that next week gets better. I only weight weekly , fingers crossed i can get threw this. I am trying to up calories as instructed by doc to 800. I love hearing people success stories just it seems like i am waiting on my own.......
  19. SLEEVED 4/24 sometime i can eat 5-6 oz and others 3 bites .i have trouble with chicken breast the dark meat or rotissery is alot easier on me. Now the water is something i am trying to work on i would say i get about 50oz a day . Today i am trying hard to drink at least 64 oz i am almost their, sip sip sip
  20. My hubby was scared to touch me for the first 2 weeks , so i took matters into my own hands sometimes you have to be the one in control. I am with the guys on this tell them what you want and show them. If not go to bed alone and mad.
