Bad Night. feeling down doesnt begin to cover it..
At 21 you are a lot stronger than most! I would have been crushed and that event would have fueled my depression and eating, but not you!! Girl, you sound like you're going to do just fine with this process. I know most of us have all been wounded by hurtful words, but like Dee said, you will be that much more experienced and thoughtful when it's your time to lend support. Heck, you're in the postion to lend support now... just talking about your evening certainly sparked my fire! We should consider ourselves very lucky -our surgery will help us become our better selves, but being an ugly, ignorant, and cruel person on the inside is inoperable!

when I was fat
This is beautiful! I think people do treat us differently when we're obese. However, in fairness, I treated myself differently too. The changes and transformation from losing excess weight are almost amazing... sooo many nsv that make us stronger and better. Congratulations Dee! ♥

So now I'm gonna be rude
"That is why people end up having such a lonely life because they think too much about how other people are when in all reality what you are thinking is farther from the truth." This is so true! I always try to tell myself, "nah, that person couldn't possibly be that rude." Of course it helps that I live in my own delusional world. lol. p.s. I'm with Domika... I love that you teach nutrition classes!!

This is for the ladies who are banded?
Yep, me too. The first time I got really tight I was like, "oh, this is a new feeling... not liking this at all!" ha. I noticed that I have a MUCH more difficult time with the band during my time of month and if I am sick.

Couldn't have had a better check up today!
First of all, congratulations on your weight loss success, your newfound healthy, and your winning mindset!! I can relate to a lot of what you said, and I hope in the future I adopt your entire attitude about this journey. It has EVERYTHING to do with our health and being around for our loved ones. I LOVE fitting into to smaller clothing and looking better, but those are only the outward fringe benefits to becoming healthier... and ultimately happier. You've done it... you've wrapped your mind around this and succeeded!!! Best wishes now and forevermore.

People are always in your corner!!!
The other half, is, of course, hard work and mild complaining. haha!

People are always in your corner!!!
Great job... keep your focus and gratitude. Sometimes I wonder if having a positive attitude isn't over half the battle. Keep the faith -this will work!

Breast lift / augmentation
I LOVE seeing pics! I find them so motivational!! You obviously look amazing, but even your "before" lift and augmentation photos gave me hope. Seriously... for losing the amount of weight you've lost I cannot believe how great your body looked! I know to some that may sound silly because obviously there was some excess skin, and clearly you were not happy with it yourself, but I will count my blessings if I end up looking as good as you did. I already have tummy sagging, upper thigh sagging, and, of course, "the girls" are not what they used to be. ha. But, in all seriousness, I am still almost 50 lbs. away from goal, and although I have been exercising like a beast I can totally see the future of my gravity-ridden body. It's so funny how this journey begins... and continues to expand. Maybe after a few years I can afford to have the body repairs you did too, but, girl, I think you looked great before and after. (200+ lbs. of weight loss is beyond comprehension for most!! Congratulations again and again!!)
