  1. I am the same just had my first fill 24 hrs ago. I don't think I can feel anything. But Iove the slow approach, sneak up on it. It gives me more adjustment and practice time. I am a little anxious about it, excited at the same time to. Xx
  2. Oh thank goodness! I emailed my surgeon but no reply yet. It feels so weird. Freaks me out. Thankyou.
  3. Can anyone else feel things moving inside? When I bend forward I can feel something moving around, tubing maybe?? Will it go away? I am nearly 3 weeks banded.
  4. Hi. Love this question. Made me think happy thoughts. I want to wear a tank top on a hot day not a sack Sit on the beach in a pair of swimmers Drop my bp meds That's for starters.
  5. Woo hoo!! How exciting!! Well done
  6. Hi all. I am 5 days post op now & everything has been ticking along beautifully - until this morning. As I was straining to get up off the couch, I felt something go pop in my tummy above my port scar & between my other incisions on the left. It didn't hurt & didn't think more of it. Well its happened again, twice, when I am getting up from the couch or out of the car. Something is definitely moving. It is freaking me out, is something wrong? Have I blown something already? It is starting to hurt a little now. Anyone else had this happen?

  8. Hey smiley!! I am doing very well thanks. Still get the occasional has pain & know if I have drunk too quickly. I officially hate liquids however but am pushing through - 9 says left until mushies. Bring it on. My dressings came off Last night & the scars are looking good. I am bruised around one on my left side & that is the one that hurts the most. No trouble at all from the other 5! Overall I am healing well! How are you doing?
  9. Hi Judy. I am on bp meds & I took it the day of surgery. They asked me if I had as well. The first 2 pain killers after were through the iv & the rest was Panadol & 1 oxecodone orally. I have been taking tabs without a worry. I questioned the nurse but she said its normal. I also talked to Dr & he said fine as well. I felt it the first few days mainly with gas after a gulp of Water. No worries now though :-).
  10. I am really struggling with liquids. Can we have plain yogurt on this stage? I am day 5 post op. I am over soups & shakes.
  11. Gooduck. All will be over soon. My anethasist gave me some type of knockout that reduces nausea & I didn't feel sick at all. :-). Take others advice - keep up your pain meds! Even if you don't think you need them. While you are in care be cared for. You will feel so much better for it. Prayers coming your way. Xoxo
  12. I have 8 days off, work 2 & another 3 off. I think I will need the 8 for sure. You have done well going back so soon. Make sure you rest up when you get home .
  13. Same here guys. This liquid thing is awful. I made some watery pumpkin soup which wasnt too bad. So are we allowed to blend veggies up in soup? I am a bit apprehensive.
  14. Hi everyone!! I'm all banded!! :-). Yes you were very right smiley, I was incredibly nervous. The sense of relief when I woke up in the recovery room was amazing - closely followed by the ouch, ouCh OUCH feeling. Nothing a few shots of tramadol didn't fix. I am back home now and just woken from a 3 hour catchup nap - the night in hospital was less than restful with my drip pump alarming on the hour! I feel pretty good. I have six scars. The 2 on the left are a bit sore. My dr told me I am one of 40 this month he is trialling with a new port. It's a glue mesh one you hold down on the muscle for 2 mins, no stitches required. It doesn't hurt at all yet. I have only had Water & a sip of apple juice so far and am graduating to a broth for dinner. Happy banding to me. :-). Cheers smiley. Xxx
