  1. 800 cals, 25g or less fat, 50g or less carbs, 25g or less sugar, and 80g+ protein.
  2. LOVE Premier! Tried em all, chocolate is the BOMB!
  3. I had my surgery with Dr. Weaver March 1st, and let me tell u....look no further! I couldn't be happier with Dr. Weaver and his staff. I was also self-pay, and he will write u a couple scripts that are not included in the price....maybe $50 tops. Everything else was included, no hidden costs or anything. I am so very happy I chose this office, even tho I traveled 9 hrs to get there...lol. Still 2 1/2 mo out, I still remain in contact bcuz they definiately DO NOT treat u like "just another number". They genuinely care abt their patients. Amazing practice.
  4. Awesome help guys! The scale actually moved down 3 lbs today, but the past 2 days I have been chugging water (which I sometimes forget) to flush out those fat cells. Cassie, good point. Overall, rather than weekly. It's so motivating to see that scale dropping, easy to stay on track. But when it slows, it's like "Give me some Fruity Pebbles!" Off to Boot Camp now, enjoy your day ladies

  6. I know this may be a question better suited for the "food and nutrition" board, but I usually get more responses here! I was just wondering what guidelines u use when it comes to eating? I had my 1st fill Apr 6, and definitely do feel full after abt a cup-cup 1/2. I am hungry between meals, but always choose a high protein/low carb snack. But more specifically, I lost 7 lbs the first week after the fill. Now 2 weeks out, I only lost 1 this week doing the EXACT same thing. Zumba 4x/week, high protein/low carb, measuring, weighing...all of it. I know 1-2 lbs ber week is typical, just a bit frustrating. I haven't touched bread, pasta, rice, cereal....FOREVER! Here's the guidelines I've been using. 25g fat or under 50 carbs or under 25g sugar or under 80g protein or greater Avg 800 cal/day So could too few calories be hindering my WL? My surgeon doesn't have a preference on which "diet" u use, as long as u get your protein. So he says some use Weight Watchers, some South Beach/Atkins...just whatever works with weighing and measuring as well. So what works best for u? Do u watch carbs? Or just calories alone? Thank u!
  7. Sounds yumm. Gonna have to try that!
  8. Just wanted to compare notes...lol. I THINK I'm adjusted pretty well even with only one fill so far (4cc's in a 10cc band). I can eat abt a cup of food, or 3 oz protein and a couple bites of veggies. Does this seem abt right? How much can u comfortably hold? I do get hungry every 3 hrs or so, and I'm chosing healthy/high protein snacks. Hopefully my next fill will help get that in check
  9. Yes! Premier is great, and I don't like shakes! I get mine at Sam's, but Costco has them too!
  10. I had my first fill last Fri and am at 4cc's. I do get full quicker on MUCH less food, but an hr or 2 later I'm STARVING. Shaky, weak, stomach growling...the whole 9! I usually chug some water or Crystal Light if my next meal isn't too far away, but what are some high protein/low carb snacks I can keep around for when this happens so I'm not tempted to grab something I shouldn't?
  11. Hi guys! I had my first fill Fri the 6th by a different doc than performed surgery. I had 2 cc's put in during surgery, which I guess explains the bread getting stuck issue from the get go. She added 2 more cc's Fri for a total of 4. I do notice getting full on smaller portions (protein always first) and I can eat a cup to a cup and a half? Does that seem right? I've heard some ppl get full on a few bites. I haven't got a ton of info on nutrition besides protein first, if still hungry then veggies/fruits, and LAST carbs/starches. I rarely make it past the protein. If so, maybe 3 bites of a side dish. I do seem to get full sooner, but am hungry more often...say every 3 hrs. Usually I swig some water or Crystal Light and it goes away for a while. I'd like to go a little longer between meals, maybe on the next fill. I also serm tighter in the morn, replacing breakfast with a proteon shake. Usually half abt 8, and the other 1/2 a couple hrs later. So...does this seem fairly normal (whatever that is...lol)? I don't have anyone to compare to, so I was hoping for a little feedback here. Thanks!
  12. I'm self pay and it's $150 per fill. Call around!
  13. Heather, how was it? Do u feel a difference? How many cc's did u get? Mine got rescheduled til Apr 6th. Ugh!

  15. Hi! I'm from Blue Springs, MO....right outside Kansas City. I drove to Colorado to be banded March 1st. The price was much cheaper. Not sure who I'm using for fills, any ideas? I'm self-pay...so price is definately an issue. Good luck!
