  1. Thanks and I will be sure to!
  2. I have surgery tomorrow morning. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Not really freaking out, but my mind has definantly gone to static mode (thinking of so many things, can't really focus on one thing). Here is to praying that this summer will be the start of the best summers of my life.
  3. All I have to say is LUNGES my friend LOL..walking lunges are awesome to do both!
  4. Its hell for the first few days, you just have to push through it...once you do that you will be fine. You will get to the point where you will look forward to your protien and lettuce salad and it will become the best thing EVER. LOL I have 2 days to go and I still feel tortured, BUT its gotta be worth the 7 pounds I have lost, right?
  5. Sent on the Feb 1st..denied on the 3rd, appealed on the 15th, approval on the 17th. Pretty quick.
  6. All I can say is...WOW...mouth open..
  7. I am at work literally 11 hours a day, which isn't helping my obsessing much cuz I literally do NOTHING most of the day.
  8. Surgery is on Thursday. I already have an obsessive nature and would check this forum and a few others daily. Now down to the last three days and I am overly obsessing. Refreshing the page every 15 minutes LOL Ive already cleaned my work area THOROUGHLY lol I even have my nook with me (My job is very sedentary, and I have a LOT of free time) and I still can't seem to stay focused. What did you do to keep your mind off things and stop obsessing? I have already organized everything I can possibly organize.
  9. Me too! My surgery is March 8th!! Ahhh, I kinda feel like a chicken with its head cut off..my brain is still trying to understand that its so close LOL I am on a 2 week liquid diet before surgery..blah I will be happy when I can have real food. Or at least when I don't care about real food. LOL
  10. thx! It definantly helped me understand the process a little better.
  11. Yay! I remember that feeling! I couldn't focus at work all day I was so excited LOL
  12. Here is a link that explains the process of anesthesia. If your like me, this topic causes you some anxiety. Knowing how things happen and what they might give me makes me feel a lot better. I hope this can help someone else in the same way. If you have any 'fun facts' then please post them. Knowledge is power, right? If you would prefer to be oblivious (which I can understand), then please do not proceed. http://www.howstuffworks.com/anesthesia.htm
  13. Have you tried drinking a protien shake after a workout? I always get super hungry after exercising and that always works for me. I also drink about a liter and half of water during and after.
  14. Fever is indicative of your body fighting off infection. See a doctor ASAP
  15. LOL i love this!! I dont whine very often but here goes. Poop on you pre-op liquid diet! lol
  16. Can't really have any now, and all I want is a big fat juicy steak, seared on both sides but pink in the middle. Like I said, I have never really been a big carb eater. When I dream of food i dream of meat LOL I can say that things have gotten a little easier. Getting sick of the protien shakes, but I just really need to mix the tastes up.
  17. Sure I don't mind. If you have any questions just IM me.

The decision was overturned on the 16th, the same day they received it. Thx everyone. @notsoonenough69 bypass and the band is available to me but they just arent for me. @Holly i have always been and english nerd LOL and yes I am a fighter because it seems that is all this world will allow. @afro_cyster my highest weight was 257 but I was arguing the specific points in the denial letter. They did not go by my starting weight but my ending weight, which I thought was stupid but I figured they would say anything and use anything against me to deny me and I was right.
  19. He did but they still denied it until I put all my research and arguments in front of them.
  20. Initially, I was going to have the bypass..BUT after research I decided on the sleeve. Im young, single w/no children and I was very afraid of the malabsorption issues w/the bypass. If my insurance would not have approved me after I fought for this and said all I could have was the bypass, or band I wouldnt have surgery at all.
  21. I was denied for the same reason, but I wrote an appeal. (You can see this on my blog), and got approved the same day they received it.
  22. *slowly backing out of this thread
  23. LOL no hate coming from this way..I think maybe this whole not eating thing has me a little crabby plus PMS (not a good combo, let me tell ya). I feel like a b**ch on wheels. So I apologize in advance if I come off grumpy sounding LOL Maybe it was a carb addiction..idk..lol but I just feel like 'meh' I also have severe migraines to the point of medication not helping. Stress is my main trigger, but aspartame and preservatives make them worse.
  24. That is exactly what I keep envisioning. Surgery and weightloss. That is the only thing getting me through this. LOL
