  1. Yes, after the first month you'll feel better. After my first month i felt somewhat back to normal. The sleeve takes some getting use to, make sure u follow ur surgeons instructions on what foods u can & can't eat. Good Luck to u!

  7. My starting weight was 340 lbs & as of today aug. 8th, I weigh 294.8. I haven't been under 300 in at least 9 yrs, & it feels so goooood. Besides having my kids this surgery is the best thing that has happened in my life. Having this surgery, took awhile to adjust, but I thank God for it. I feel like I got my life back.

  9. I've been sleeved since june 4th & so far I've lost 25lbs. I'm happy to be loosing weight, but at the same time I'm missing food. After 3 bites I'm done, I can't eat anymore & sometimes it makes me so mad, because the food tastes so good.
  10. I'm going through it now. I was sleeved june 4th & ever since I've started foods I've been constipated. This is such a miserable feeling, I'm taking colace as well & nothing yet.

  14. To be honest with you, I drank fluids all day. I take my tall smart water bottle everywhere I go.

  16. My surgery was June 4th & I can't believe I lost 18lbs in one week
  17. Congrats!!! I went through the same thing when I came home. My surgeon prescribed me prilosec, & it has helped me. I have also been taking mylanta, that gas x didn't work for me either.

  19. Dr. Roslin was mine, you're in good hands they take great care of their pts. The hospital even called me today to ask me how I was, & if I enjoyed my stay. I feel great!!!
  20. I was sleeved at Lenox Hill June 4th, best Hospital by far.
