  1. Me it can take 3-4 weeks an then i feel it kick in
  2. Hi there i also had glue done with no bleeding. However when you say bleeding how much alittle ie u can take care of it with a band aide or moderate it would soak up a 2x2 gauze. If its the latter then call ur dr. If its not bad i would just use a gauze pad cover with band aide and keep it dry
  3. Yes. Rebecca i empathize with you. But lately mine has been ice cream. Which is a funny thing because i wasnt a real icecream eater before but too mr hubby has been bringing it into the house like crazy but you just gave me a great idea. Its all going into the trash!! Thank you
  4. Elcee does it matter if the fluid is caffeine or not ??
  5. I am ALWAYS working on this one. I never drink enough im now learning to walk around with my water bottle an sip continuosly
  6. Normally those are given if the fpc knows you have any respiratory issues. I stayed over nigjt an never got pne either but the again i dont have resp. issues. Hope you feel better soon hon
  7. Oh cuz im in mass an it gets freezing here
  8. Awesome!! Texas im soo jealous
  9. Love this!! I too cannot have Mr.chocolate in my house. For me he is very tempting and i am very weak.
  10. Bigenuf... R u married ? If so for how long? There is a commitment that is a bond between two people that goes way beyong the bedroom cool granny summed it up nicely. Also though what if because of meds an accident or some kind of imbalnce you were unable or uninterested in sex would you want your spouce to assume you were cheating. Sometimes its different when the shoe is on the other foot To OP please try to hang in there like you have been. Sex changes with live changes with age an circumstances. My dh an i used to fuss over this very topic because i became uninterested for years only performing out of obligation which was no better. AND NO I WAS NOT CHEATING I wasnt just interested. Open communication an patience has helped in the end
  11. Joel that is awesome!! I see you dont comment often but when u do its always something good! Congratulations!!! BTW awhile ago Joel posted alot of info on how he has been so sucessful. If we do a search using his name they should pull up.
  12. Thanks all im gonna try both ways one with water an fruit an the other with almond milk. Let the taste testing begin!
  13. No i havent. Does that have many cals because my pp vanilla is 100/scoop so i am trying to find a way of making my shakes cal friendly
  14. Im so glad for you that it doesnt appear to be a band complication. But i have to say i have worked at a level 1 trama center for over 10 years an its an awesome hospital an er for the BIG things. However for other thing its better to go to your own surg. @ the hospital they are so focused on Tramatic things they may over look the neccesary steps for the generalized things. An btw great job at being your own advocate no ones their own body better than you do
  15. @B52. I have tried to use water but it doesnt cover the taste enough for me. Any secrets id like to not use skim milk any more
  16. My food tolerance changed as well. Things seem either to salty, acidy(sp?), or to hot. Which is a big change for me because prior band i wanted my bacon salty, my buffalo wings hot, and my lemonade sour. Guess its different for all.
  17. Awesome Tricia it will go great. Check back in when you can let us know how you are.
  18. I am on the other side of the fence with this one. I have to keep my band on the tighter side to help me recognize when i am done eating. At first i was on a 1000-1200 cal a day intake. I wasnt losing anything However i have medical issue one being hypothyroidism so my body naturally has a slow metabolism When i cut back to 800 cals i started seeing the numbers go down Also i walk 3 miles aday an drink my Water. But for my its the amount of calories that make the difference
  19. Awesome !!!
  20. Your husband showed great selfcontrol which is more manly than some men with their mouths an their "machoisms". Yes we are all beautiful an valued no matter what society says. Good luck on your journey
  21. I know for me jpurnaling my cals an knowing how many i NEED a day is important. Whether its caloriecount or MFP
  22. I hope you feel better soon. Trapped gas has even been congused with a heart attack because of the pain. Walk it out is the best advice i can give
  23. I am so glad you are feeling better. My surgeon said experiences like this are why he always puts in an empty band the swelling from surgery is enough in itself for a person to recover from. Never mind the added restriction of a fill. Yes slow n steady wins the race
  24. IDK of shakeology but juicing is awesome a great way to get ur vitamins in. I then add unflavored protein powder an it helps me.
