  1. Congratulations! You are a success and an inspiration. Keep up the good work.
  2. Hi Monty, Ice cravings are definitely a sign of anemia. I was cronic anemia and ate ice all day everyday until I went to see a blood specialists. She gave me iron infusions and now I can't stand ice. Please get your iron levels checked. My body does not asorb iron so I have to get it through iv and now I have more energy. I know we all are different but it's worth looking in to. I hope this helps.
  3. Congrats on your new journey! I'm 10 days out and I love the sleeve family. Again congrats and I will visit your channel on youtube.
  4. Congrats. Maybe that was God's way of allowing you to enjoy Thanksgiving with your family. Im so happy for you!
  5. Hi Michelle You can go to http://www.weight-loss-center.net or http://www.ticketfactory.com and create your ticker. Once created copy the code and go to your profile page and click edit and go to signatures and paste the code. I hope this helps..
  6. I almost forgot, please make sure you get something for gas.
  7. Congratulations! You will need lots of liquids. I recommend campbell's chicken noodle soup and pour the juice off because the plain broth is disgusting. Gatorade G2 because it is low in calories, sugar and 0 fat. Jello, popcicles and italian ice (can be a discomfort if it is too cold so eat slowly) I hope this helps and I wish you the best. :whoo:

    Congrats now your journey begins!
  9. Wow this is tooooooo funny. I'm still on the liquid stages and my little girl is home from school and she begged me to cook her an egg and cheese omlet (my husband was taking care of these things but he went back to work yesterday) I could no longer take it so I put a piece in my mouth, chewed it and spit it out. No harm done. back to liquids lol :blush5:
  10. Hello, I was sleeved 1 wk ago today and I'm still on liquids. I'm still a little dizzy but I've gotten use to it. I triied an optifast today because I could not take the broth any longer. It gave me more gas but I'm fine. I'm a realtor and I work from home. You can always chat with me and I'm 41.
  11. You will be fine. Since my surgery a week ago, I've seen every doctor but mine. He sent others in his place everyday and also his arnp saw me daily. I only saw him once for 30 seconds lol.
  12. BTW, how do I get my weightloss ticker to show up? It shows in my signature but not in my posts. I know this is off topic but I've been trying to figure this out.
  13. Wonderful! It will help. Don't work too hard and Happy Thanksgiving!
  14. I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. It does not seem normal to be losing blood daily. I had my surgery 1 wk ago today. I'm not having any draining problems but they did want to transfuse me a couple of days later because I lost blood during surgery but I refused and got the iron infusion instead. Please let me know how this goes and I pray things get better for you. Stay encouraged and take it easy.
  15. I got it thanks a million!
  16. Thanks Shae. How do I get it to show up when I post? I did a few test post but nothing showed. Do you copy the bbcode, html or ezcode?
  17. I think I figured it out. I went to a website called www.weight-loss-center.net I created the ticker but now I don't know where to paste the code lol
  18. Wow that sucks. I hope I don't have that problem because I spent 4 nights in the hospital.
  19. Hi everyone, I'm new to this blog. I've been lurking and made my 1st entry the other day because I was sleeved Tuesday Nov. 15th. My question is, how do you add the weight tickers to your profile? I think those are great!
  20. I'm having the same problem. I was sleeved on Tuesday. I hope we can find relief.
  21. Thank you. Do you know which one is not a prescription? I'm having gas and hunger pangs on an all liquid diet.
  22. Hi everyone. I'm brand new to the forum and was just sleeved this past Tuesday. I just got home from the hospital today. I was going to be banded last Thursday but on my 9th day of my preop diet I got a call from my Dr Office stating the insurance would not cover the hospital because it was not a center of excellence. I had to scramble at the last minute to find a doctor who did surgeries at this type of hospital and I went to his seminar and saw he did the sleeve as well as the band. I realized with this change I had options. So I opted for the sleeve instead. I keep seeing on different posts about how one gets help from a PPI. Sorry I don't have a clue what this is. Can someone please enlighten me on this matter.. Thanks in advance
