  1. Kaiser has taught us that alcohol can kill us! So I have no desire to prove them wrong. I don't need to drink. I'm happy right where I am.
  2. Get back to the basics. Get a therapist that can help you fight your head hunger. Protein first, veggies, and cut back on all the carbs. Use Myfitnesspal.com to log your food. If your serious about getting back on track, then you do what you have to do with no excuses. Sorry if too harsh, but you've done really great up till now and it's time to get back on track.
  3. Yes, this is the time to get help. Perhaps you might look into seeing therapist. This is the time to get your head hunger under control. Work on getting the triggers for your bad eating habits under control. Also, I highly recommend LilMissDiva's basic boot camp. It has worked for me numerous times. Stay away from the carbs. Yes, bread is a big slidder!

  11. Top gun: If you are using Dr. LePort's office for your surgery, there is no liquid diet, it's just the day before and it actually was not that bad. Good luck. I had Dr. Kelly and she was great!
  12. Yes, that is exactly what I had to do. I had my surgery on 10/4/11. They never told me to do the 3 month diet though. Maybe it's because my PCP in the past has prescribed a diet pill. Anywho, I'm 4 months out and loving my body now (with cloths on). I am almost at my goal weight. Around 20 lbs if I go for 140 lbs because I'm big boned. LOL
  13. Our minds are very powerful. They can heal us, make us believe irrational stuff, etc. Yes it is possible.
  14. I'm 5'6" and I am targeting 130lbs. I am 159 right now and I wear size 8's or 10's. This has really surprised me. I will have to look up whether I'm big boned or what. LOL

  20. CONGRATS! You are doing fine. Make sure you get your fluids because your body is only happy when hydrated. Then protein first, veggies, to be truthful, you will most likely be full by then. Have a fun day!
