  7. He's here! My baby boy arrived yesterday healthy and happy!! I gained 40lbs all together with the pregnancy and my Dr. didn't seem a bit concerned about it. I'm not worried about getting back down to where I was weight wise, just excited about spending time with new little man!!
  8. I am 37 weeks pregnant and I had the same issue during my first trimester. I could almost count exactly 4-5 days without a bowl movement and a day of diarrhea following. Just keep on taking your vitamins and I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. You can always ask your OB or surgeon if you're worried about it.
  9. I'm up 19lbs and I'm 24 weeks pregnant. Kinda scares me, but I know it's for the baby, and I'm confident it will come off after baby is here. (at least that is what I'm telling myself)

  13. Luckily I haven't had any acid reflux issues, got to hear the baby's heartbeat today. Yay! Strong and healthy, a little bummed I have to wait two more months to find out if I'm having a boy or girl though! The wait is going to kill me. Otherwise, I've been feeling much better, no dry heaving all day long anymore. Lol my only complaint is my moodiness, some days I feel like I can't control it. I just can't wait, still a long way to go, but I made it through my first trimester at least! Infirm though some days I felt like calling into bed and sleeping all day and night!!

  15. I'm 11 weeks now. I've lost 106lbs since surgery last November. I've only gained 1lb back so far, but also gained a couple inches in my waist! I'm showing so fast!! Is anytime else pregnant and look huge already???? I swear my belly is sticking out and I'm not even out of my first trimester yet!!!
  16. Yay! I'm pregnant! Just tested positive yesterday, I really can't believe it! Only two months off the pill and two years of trying before sleeve. This is a true blessing
  17. Congratulations!! I haven't been on the site in a while and wanted to check in. I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant!!!! Our stories were pretty similar, we tried for about 2 years before my sleeve surgery with no luck. Now, 1 year post-op, I'm pregnant! How has it been for you the past couple months? Have you been feeling well?
  18. Just to add a different perspective, I told EVERYONE. I work in a somewhat small office and was confident in my decision. I did it to create a healer lifestyle for myself, and was not ashamed whatsoever. For me, it made it easier and provided a stronger support system. Also, I didn't have to worry about people asking me questions like " is that all you're eating for lunch?", or " what is that you're drinking?" when I have a protein scale at my desk, etc. everyone is different, in situations are all different, but for me, I preferred to tell everyone head of time to avoid the awkward questions afterwards. I mean, regardless you're going to be asked questions as you continue to lose weight. and if you hide it, there is only going to be more speculation. congratulations and good luck on your journey!
  19. I also was told no carbonation ever. although I was told I can open a can of diet coke and let go flat and then drink it but that just sounds gross to me! I have had wine with no problem, and a mixer with mio, and that went down fine too!
  20. Oh, you are so lucky. I am 9 months out and steak is really tough for me. Out judy sits like a rock in my sleeve. :-( I take small bites when my husband eats then though, just can't tolerate too much.
  21. I've had no issues whatsoever since surgery 9 months ago. I actually posted a topic shortly after surgery asking the same exact thing!
  22. I never thought of it that way!! LOL

  24. Yay! Congratulations and Good Luck! 3 weeks will fly by, then you will be dropping lbs and feeling great!
  25. I am so excited! My surgeon just cleared me and my hubby to start trying to conceive! We tried for 3 years prior to my surgery with no sucess. I have a beautiful 6 year old son, but I always dreamed of having another. Hopefully with all this weight off my body and my healthier habits, we will be successful. Anyone else go through this? How long did it take for you to get pregnant? I am just so happy about the possibility that I could cry!!!
