Surgery trip this Sunday
Dow and Debbie your in good hands with Dr Sanchez!! Tell Sadi, Vera says Hi! Try and get all your documentation, receipts, info with your band number before you come home. Yes They can e-mail it but I believe it's better to have it in hand. Monterrey is a large, fairly clean city. This time of year they may even have rain, but it's warm. Since your traveling alone, please don't lift any thing heavy. I brought some Gatorade, like Lisa said "It was heavenly"! Get up and walk as soon as possible, If your staying at the Hospital Santa Engracia look for the Chapel. The painted murals are 3 stories tall in a beautiful round room in the center of the hospital. A real work of art. Be Safe, Good Luck, God Bless and Congratulations

Why Mexico
Hi Tall Guy I went to Monterrey Mx. I didn't want to fight the Insurance battle, I had NO co morbicities and it's cheaper. I did put in a claim with Blue Cross (PPO) as soon as I got home, 2 months later it was declined. Another banster explained how she kept putting in claims and finally received a partial pay out. So this last June I put in another claim and they replied with needing more break-down/itemizing costs, Doctor notes and addresses which I compiling now. Hopefully I'll recover some of my costs.

Blessed Energy! Time to go to work!
Lisa, I enjoy this Thread. I have a soon to be 7 year old, Roxanne. She loves unicorns, butterfly and Angels which are abuntant in her room. You've inspired me to paint, the rainbow is beautiful, I hope you don't mind if I steal your Idea. I also have a 3 year old boy Hunter. He's so full of energy. It's hard just keeping his room picked and clean. Thanks for shareing.

Under Construction
Wow Donali I've been watching your progress for the last week checking pics. Must say you've done some excellent work. Can't wait to see it all trimmed out. You should be so proud of yourself. Here's the carpenters joke Little Johnny was always getting in trouble, One day his mom said "I want you to go across the street and watch the carpenters, maybe you'll learn something" So Johnny went then came home, his mom asked "what did you learn?" "That the god damn door dosen't fit so you take the mother f**er down, shave it a cunts hair and put the c* s* back up" "Johnny go to your room and wait till your father comes home!" Dad comes home and asked Johnny "I heard you learned something today" "Yes, that the god damn door dosen't fit so you take the mother f**er down, shave it a cunts hair and put the c* s* back up" "Johnny you go get a switch" dad says. "Hell no thats an electricians job"

naughty and busted!
Please.....Don't do that again!!! Take it easy. Soft white breads/buns, pasta and rice can be your worst enemy. Michelle has good advice.

Went for a Fill today...
Thanks Lady's!! I'm not too worried I've lost 65 lbs. and have about 30 lbs. to go. Even if I only got down to 160 lbs. I'd be very happy with my decision to be banded. The last 3 months I have not gain nor lost but have pushed the envelope of eating. Like eating pizza with crust and I've even had a few burgers. These types of foods I didn't have up until last July, and I still can't eat as much as could pre-band. So watching what I eat and exercise could be the trick. Tricia, Its nice to know others who have our band type, keep in touch.
