  5. I feel so loved! group hug
  6. In my prayers also. Please keep us informed
  7. Paula That's alot like me, I can't eat after 7pm or I'll suffer at night. Try alittle fill, you could always get unfilled. As long as you don't eat before bedtime, you should be fine, my 2 cents.
  8. Hi Alice, It's been awhile...how do you feel? Look? Bumping this thread cause I'm doing research. I'm very serious about having Dr. Cardenas do a TT, chin and eyes. Are you still planning on going down to Monterrey in December? Any pics you want to share?
  9. I'm so happy for you, I can't wait to see your pic's I just cancelled a surgery for my chin and eyes planned for next week due to the cost, 13K. I'm looking in depth for Mexico options, can you give us more details, who? how much? where? So far Monterrey Mx has the best deals and results. Editing cause I just read your doc was Ernesto Castellanos, how did you become aware of him? does he have a websight? Thanks Vera
  10. Happy for all of you! MOM too!
  11. I don't have a fill either (9.75 Inamed band) Dr McKeenn prescribed Prevacid supension, 30 mg packets mix with 2 tlbs water I love these, take heart burn away....I only use them 3 times a week.
  12. Dr. Horgan?? not sure of the spelling... everything iv'e read on this doc is great!
  13. I lost in Yosemite 5,000/7,000 feet, didn't even think about food. 11K too cool At work all I do is test in Azimuth and Elevation, antenna test terms.
  14. Ms Kelly, sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery. I thought about you while I was in recovery with my latest surgery (Uterus removeal). I have alway done well recovering out of surgery but not this time. I don't know if it was the spinal they gave me?? What Alexandra said It was more like dry heaves and they did give me something for it, I don't remember what they called it. Please keep us informed, I'll be thinking about you.
  15. I'm home and all went well. This surgery was harder in recovery than being banded, that's for sure. I went with a spinal, it softens the pain out of surgery but it seemed like a long time wakeing up. Had some dry heaves as well, glad I haven't had a fill yet. My doctor cut around my 2 C-section scars, removed them and made one clean bikini line. I tried to talk her into a tummy tuck, she has had a plastic surgeon come in after her and done that. If I'm not makeing any sense blame it on the drugs... Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.
  16. Which band will he choose for you? How much saline will it hold? How soon can you get a fill? (some doc's will give you a fill at 4 weeks)
  17. Thanks again for all the well wishes….how much does a uterus weigh? I’ve had 2 C-sections, a colon removal/rectum reconstruction, gallbladder removal and 2 band surgeries also the tubing fix attempt. I've got a road map down south, what’s another scar. I did all my pre-op testing yesterday and I’m all ready for tomorrow. Since I was at Good Sam Hospital I cruzed over to Dr. McKeen’s office and scheduled a fill for Aug. 1st, exactly 4 months since being re-banded. While I was there they let me jump on the “Real Scale” It read 177.1 lbs and BMI at 29.9...that just made my birthday the best! I haven’t weight 177 in 15 years! Paula I didn’t get up on skis yet, that’s still a goal. I’ll post when I get home…
  18. Do I wish a congratulations???
