Good Morning, Vi's!~~ I'm home. Uneventful flight, which is always good! When Kat & I parted ways @ the airport yesterday, she said that Rick or Amanda would call one of us randomly (we're programmed into her phone) & that that person could spread the word to the rest of us... PURPLE POWER TO YOU KAT!!! I think what Ms. Doodle was trying to say w/her face-first into the oatmeal comment was: "Raise your hand if you're tired this morning!!" :thumbup: Answer: ME! ME! I third what Pam said... we're an amazingly diverse group of women... I am so lucky to have each of you in my life!! Smooches!!

Laura, I expected you to have a really southern drawl, but you don't! This IS going to be funny... putting voices & faces & mannerisms (I gesture w/my hands ALL THE TIME while I talk) together!!

I *think* I'm ready. Phew! Oh wait. Nope. Have to change the cat litter box. + still have 1 load of laundry in the washer -- but I just made $6!! The rule is: any money in the washer/dryer is MINE!! :biggrin: Figure my ds just bought me a 'rita! + did I tell you all that I'm the 8th grade band concert concession coordinator for tonight? Yep. As if I didn't have ENOUGH going on!! My IL's should be here in about an hour... But other than that... house is clean, clothes are laid out on my bed to pack... CAN IT BE??? It's almost time!! Laura, I have to get up @ 3:30AM to leave by 4:30AM for the airport! So we're not alone!!

I think I'm wearing a denim skirt, white T, white bobbie sox & white keds... so if you see the PTA Mom, it's me!!

Jane!! How frightening!! We all obviously NEED this weekend AWAY!!! I finished my proofreading, have most of the house cleaned (will do the rest in the a.m.), went grocery shopping (@ 2 stores, no less), did laundry... and am now bushed and am going to bed!! My eyes are fine!! Yay!! The better for me to SEE YOU WITH!!:party:

((Laura)) I completely understand... my 2 cats have ruined part of my upstairs hallway because they'll go there if their box isn't 100% scooped at any given moment... and altho I do my best (at least 2x/day), sometimes... My dh HATES them and has said that once they're gone, that's it! No more cats. I work so hard to keep that area clean & washed, but it's hard. I'm so sorry for you.

Good Weds Morn, Vi's~~ The day after tomorrow I'll see you all!!! I can't believe it!! TOM arrived yesterday w/a vengeance... grrrrr... hoping the worst is over by Fri... I've procrastinated, too... today is going to be a DOOZY if I can pull it off! TONS to do... actual paying work to finish (there's a concept!); house to clean before my in-laws arrive; meals to cook; clothes to wash & pack; groceries to buy; etc. & so forth. I want to have just about EVERYTHING done by the time I lay my head on my pillow TONIGHT! Because tomorrow I have just the a.m., and then the il's arrive and then I'm in charge of the concert concessions, etc., tomorrow eve... then it's bed & time's up!! :tongue2: But it is going to be soooooooo worth it when I lazin' down the river in my big ol' toob w/the sun shining down, the birds singing, and my VIOLETS by my side!!!!!!!

No, really, I think it's just allergies. No one else has the slightest eye itch or anything. I'll look for those drops, Kat! Thanks!

Ok, so I am a bad Violet & didn't call the doc yesterday, decided to take a "wait & see" approach... I did take an allergy pill last night &, altho my eyes are still so, so itchy, they aren't red or gunky like yesterday morn... so I'm thinking it's allergies... Another busy day... make it a great one, Vi's!!

For me, mostly water & the green tea I wrote on the list. + because it's a special weekend, 'ritas & the cranberry & vodka.
