Good Morn, Vi's~~ Yep, it's my b'day today... when I post this, I guess I'll see "age: 45" on the post... bleh. That just sounds "old" to me... I mean, I could rationalize & pretend away the other lower 40s numbers... but now I'm closer to 50 than 40! Yikes! Thanks for the wishes!! I wish we could all get together for some birthday revelery -- now THAT would be a fun birthday!! I am doing only what I want to do today... so no work -- yay!! DD & I are going to Target (see, I'm so exciting now that I'm old)... then meeting a friend at 'Bucks... then going for lunch @ my fav salad place... then going to my mom's for dinner w/the whole family... ds, dh, dd, my mom, my cousin... Oh! & somewhere in there I'll redeem my coupon for FREE ICE CREAM @ Coldstone... cuz' b'day cream has no calories!! (hee hee) (anyone else notice a disturbing trend in my plans for the day???...) Good Monday Morn, Vi's!~~ Another quiet day here... I treasure these, as they are few & far between! DS is @ camp all week, so it's just DD here w/me during the days. I've got bunches of work (yay) so she'll have to entertain herself in the mornings while I work, then in the afternoons we'll go to the pool or something like that. Am glad to be back in control w/the eating... phew! My goal is to be @ -90 by the end of this month, & -100 by the end of August!! If I keep that in mind, then my moment-to-moment choices are easier to make! TracyK -- Welcome to the club! The SAHM club! Truly, IMHO, you have made the most awesome decision for yourself and Macy... before we had kids, dh knew that my philosophy was: Why have kids if someone else is going to raise them? It was non-negotiable... + it helps that I can do my job from home! Also... re: naps in K... at least here in MD... K is not the same as you may remember it... it's more like 1st/2nd grade was when we were in school... it's not the playtime & craft making & story time & snacks that is was... it's serious learning... they learn to read... math... writing... etc... at our school they do NOT have naps or snacks... they always wear me out when I sub in K! I'd definitely suggest calling the school for the details + do they have a K orientation for the parents?? We do, about a week prior to the start of school... check about that, too. But if they're not napping, I'd suggest that you end naps so she can get used to it before school starts. I know I wanted to say something to others, but can't think of it now... I'm in "Mommy advice" mode... watch out!! Make it a great day, Vi's!

Sit down, Janie, and maybe it will pass!! :thumbup: We have some sort of DVR thing-a-ma-jig like Tivo on our tv (Direct TV maybe?) and I love being able to record shows & then watch them when it's convenient + fast-forward thru the commercials... but I OBVIOUSLY have no idea how we got it!! ha ha! Sad, but true. So I encourage the idea, but can't help w/the implementation. Yep, that's pretty much me! Dinner tonight = an iced skinny cinnamon dolce latte... yum!

He had just purchased that one @ the beach... he loves that style... they go well w/his jazz sax "style"... & Claire's my little diva/fashion wannabe... we had a good time. OK! Today is the day! Say it with me: Today is the day! The day that I will BEGIN AGAIN... not cave in to crap (such as, no "ice cream for lunch because we're on vacation" -- who am I kidding??)... move my bod for at least 30 mins... drink water... in other words... live like a proper bandster!! Pam!~~ When you said that your friend is in SA I can picture it!! How wonderful! Have a fabulous trip!! I'm so excited for you!! I just drank 2 Mike's Hard Lemonades & think I may go for a third... just that kind of night... of course, it's no fun to get loaded w/out my Vi's... it's a more mellow, take the edge off feeling v. a laugh 'til my sides hurt one!! YOU KNOW WHSAT I MEAN!!
