I'm thinking I'll book this one asap if ya'll think it's ok timing wise... The price really is great... seeing as how nonstops were up to $700 at one point... I was pretty much resigned to doing 1-stop (Detroit) but this non is good!

How does this schedule look for flying into Ala in June?? Question for all you smart girlies... what's the deal w/flax?? I bought a box of ground flaxseeds today... I know they're supposed to be good for you, & I was in the wholesome foods area & saw it, so I bought it... but I don't know why they're good for you. I sprinkled 1/2 a packet into my blueberry yogurt protein shake just now... don't taste them... just wondering... I guess I can google it... but I know at least one of you will know... smarty pants!!

We have a Queen & I wish it were bigger. Our 2 fat cats sleep w/us... Chai usually between my knees & Mo up by my head...

Quick check-in... I ran into my neighbor @ the grocery store a bit ago and he was all, "You look Fantastic!" and I said "Thank You" but on the inside I was like "Ugh. I do not. I am fat. Bleh." Whatever. & so it goes... I hope to go to the Y later & walk... my back is mostly all better today, just a few tweaks... bleh... will this "journey" ever be OVER??? Really. I want this year to be IT for stressing over LOSING weight. But why can't I remember that when faced w/food?? Hmmm? This 13-lb run from 250 down to 237 is killing me! Lose 10, gain 8, lose 6, gain 4, lose 10, gain 5... it's like some kind of freaking ping-pong game! Bleh bleh bleh.

Yes, dh returns today... I doubt he's tan, as he doesn't even like the beach or the pool, but he did say that he got a sunburn on his bald head one day while walking & photographing... heh heh heh... am I all that evil if that makes me laugh?? I can picture you spending hours & hours in the glider snuggling w/little Carson! :thumbup: I've been driving round & round all day... still have one more run to do... picking up ds from a party @ 10pm... it was pouring snow when I took him over @ 7... hope it stops before then! Happy Love Day, My Hearts! I received roses from my dh yesterday ( guess he should travel more often, huh?), and cards & candy from the kids this morning. Then we hit the ground running... left @ 8am & by 10 had already delivered the two of them to 3 different activities! I'm now ensonced @ Panera on the laptop, enjoying a latte while I wait for ds's soccer ref course to conclude (I couldn't face MORE driving to get all the way home & back, so I decided to treat myself to an hour here!)... then we'll grab some lunch & head out to dd's riding lesson. Up & down and up & down I go today... I'll probably spend 5 hrs in the car today... only to end up right back where I started!! Such is life! How wonderful! As I sit here typing, a barbershop quartet is singing... serenading someone here @ Panera! The whole place has stopped to enjoy them! What an unexpected delight!! They are wonderful! I hope that each of your days is full of unexpected, loving delight today. I love and treasure each of you... smooches!!

Sooooooo I'm guessing the Yankee Candle Citrus/Sage car freshener hangin in my car is screaming Nothern Michigan Yokel, correct??? hmmmmmmmmmmmm Oh dear, Judy's a Northern Michigan Trucker-Mouthed Yokel Preacher's Wife!! & so's Laura! :thumbup: Let's see, who else can I insult without meaning to? (You should see how good I am at it when I actually TRY!) Sorry to anyone I may have offended w/that comment. But I will be honest. I find it tacky. Esp. when there's a car w/about 20 of the pine tree ones dangling together at once (I'm sure I just insulted someone else now, right?) It's more the having them hang from the rearview than anything else. When on occassion I have felt the urge to have one in my car (after hauling 3 wet, stinky soccer boys 3 hrs in my car), I hang them from a radio button or some such inconspicuous spot. Except for today... today it is hanging. So I'm a yokel, too! Hmmm... even this apology isn't coming off correctly... I am out of whack, it would seem. How's this: SORRY!!! I will shut up on this subject now and try to play nicer tomorrow.

You guys... I apologize if my storytelling of the events of last night was too graphic... can you tell I was a bit wound up?... it all just came tumbling out that way & I hit "send". Sorry. But, it's also they way it was, soooo... if it helps w/weight loss, then you're welcome! :biggrin: TracyKS, I've been a couponmom for AGES... LOVE IT! I'm a fiend at shopping all the different stores' loss leaders... I only go into Bloom if I know I'll save 50% or more! Ok, so I got the car washed & cleaned, w/"special" detailing on dd's seat & floor area... smells ok, neutral... I hung a Yankee Candle car freshener on the little hook over her seat (I HATE hanging car fresheners, to me, nothing says "I'm a yokel" more than that!... but you understand why I HAD to, right??)... so we'll see... thanks for the tips & tricks... w/kids, you need 'em all and I'm sure they'll come in handy in the future. And yes, Laura, you should jot them down, too! How funny that you thought "I can't let that happen!"... how, exactly, are you going to prevent it? If you have a way, please share! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha (that's an "old" mom laughing maniacally at the "mom to be"!)!! I haven't had a bite to eat all day & I am starving & have a headache... + PTA tonight, blech... bbl...

Good Thursday Morn, Vi's~~ Had a busy day yesterday... we went to the sports pub last night & watched the US beat Mexico in soccer (yay!)... actually, it was me, dd, & a friend & her dd @ our table, & we were more watching American Idol than the game... the other table w/the 3 teens was where the soccer-watching was going on! We were driving home & dd is in the back and she starts to cough and then SPLOOSH!! -- she throws up EVERYTHING she'd just eaten over the previous 2 hours (wings, ceasar salad, ice cream brownie thingy) ALL OVER THE BACK SEAT OF THE CAR!! The SMELL! OMG! She was crying & I'm trying to drive w/out heaving myself & ds is yelling... whoo! So we get home & I take off my new sweater & put on an apron & get a spoon, paper towels, windex & a trash bag & go out & "dig in", literally! I kept gagging as I was scooping it up & scrubbing it... I left the window open hoping that would help, too. Then I stripped down dd in the garage, put her in the shower, put her clothes in the washer... what an end to a fun evening! So this a.m., dd & I are running late (of course) for the bus & we jump in the car and BOOM -- the SMELL is still there! So I get a can of febreze & pump that back there... so now my car smells like lemony-barf. Lovely. SOOOOOO long story longer... I'm meeting my friend for coffee @ 10, then will drive straight to the car wash for a clean!! I'm sure they must get this type of thing all the time, right?? Too bad I don't live near one of Haydee's Bubbles!!! The other excitement here today is the WIND! That TX, OK wind has blown itself here & it's crazy! You all remember the last time it was this windy & we had 6 trees come down through our neighbor's fence & had to pay beaucoup bucks to get it all fixed... so it makes me very nervous!! Ok... You CRACKED ME UP w/ the description of the cats "playing" & Kinsey's classic line: ""Oh they ARE Granny, look that one is jumping up and down!" :smile: Today's a busy one here... work this a.m. then 2pm begins my chauffeur job... pick up ds @ school & take him to orthodontist; take him home & pick up dd & take her to the first "Wiz" rehearsal; zip over & get my eyebrows waxed; back to the HS to pick up dd; pick up ds; all of us go to Glory Days (sports bar/restaurant) for dinner & to watch the US v. Mexico soccer World Cup qualifier game (I'm sure it's on every red-blooded American's "to-do" list for tonight! lol!). It'll be after 9 by the time we're home for the night. I'm wearing a new shirt & adorable (if I do say so myself) cardigan-style sweater in spring green & white & I must say it's making me feel peppy today. I think they're the first new clothes I've purchased for myself in about a year!! Size 18-20, but are almost -- almost! -- big. I like the sweater so much I may go back & purchase another in a salmony-pink & white color combo... & maybe in the next size down! I'll take a pic if I can... Be good & have a great day, everyone!

Hey Vi's... ??? I am deducing that someone named HarleyNana posted something about Kat that we already knew & that she may have insulted us & that she deleted her post?? At first I thought TracyK's "Something we didn't already know" comment was that I'd be grateful for a heating pad & my drink -- ha ha! That made me laugh! Sorry Suzie, but this is the only thread I come to on here any more, so I just go w/the flow of the conversation. Just do what I do when Judy uses her trucker's language, I put my hands over my ears and sing "la la la la la la la" to myself! :thumbup: I've been invited to go to be a panelist for the Blue Bunny ice cream! How funny it THAT??? "Isn't it ironic.... don'tcha think..." No more cran left... just the vod... as soon as ds gets home from soccer, I'm going to bed!! Love my Vi's!

Just be careful! My sister's friend had her baby in their driveway in the front seat of her car; a neighbor in our old neighborhood had hers in the parking lot (didn't even make it into the car!); and a good friend of mine at least made it to the hospital elevator... Personally, I preferred to get there & then be attended to w/no worries that I'd end up on the news w/a "breakdown lane baby" & the good samaritan who delivered my babe! :thumbup:
