  1. On the IF deal... since that's the point of this thread LOL Doing good. Less and Less issues with working within the time frames. I do still do some semi-conscious eating in the middle of the night, but typically it's restricted to fruit or a protein bar. Down another .6 today, so I'm back on track for my "hopes and dreams" goal of 200.
  2. I agree... just waiting on the wife's cycle LOL (well that and actually seeing her since she works 2 jobs and I maybe see her like... 3 hours a week.) I need a FWB for the both of us LOL (Yes the wife is bi) I think now that I'm getting all sexy, playtime might be making a long awaiting comeback LOL
  3. LOL I used to manage a very high volume adult store... several of them actually, There isn't a single thing you can say that will offend or shock me. Seriously. oh and... for your tracking https://jezebel.com/a-complete-breakdown-of-the-nutritional-content-of-seme-953356816
  4. The trick is to make small changes and keep those changes for 2 weeks minimum before adding more changes. Pick 1 thing that would be an easy change, just 1. And make and stuck to that change. Then in 2 weeks , that change is now habit. Change something else and keep doing this until you have all those habits adjusted.
  5. It's not all sunshine and rainbows LOL Sometimes I wish I wasn't as emotional (or passionate) because it just always seems to cause issues... then couple that with the mild autism and it makes for one CRAZY experience LOL I could sell tickets to my mind if they created the technology to do so.
  6. I'm not really one to typically do that, it's your experience, you have 100% full control over it to do what you want to, if you don't want to include me for whatever reason, that's totally understandable and I've got no legs to stand on to force you to change that. But, I will always be there to provide my insight or information if I have it, if it's requested. No worries all around!
  7. LOL thanks.... it's odd that I relate to women much easier than I do men for whatever reason.
  8. Men have hormonal changes as well, it's not anywhere near as researched as women, but we certainly do. And if I got my wife on here, she'll tell you that I am effected by her cycle as well as effected by my own, actually I'm sure she'd say "OMG he's such an emotional b***h when he's having his man period." Not even getting into the issues with weight loss men have because fat stores estrogen and REALLY screws with our systems when the ratio of Testosterone to Estrogen gets all out of wack. I didn't take it personally really, just a lot of being ignored... which sucks. I get we are different... but I'm a pretty feminine male... and I've got zero issues with that fact. I'm a VERY sensitive, emotional person.
  9. Might help to note that I don't write with emotion implied, part of the "spectrum" stuff. Try not to read my text with any added emotion, for the most part... there is no emotion or hidden meaning in my text. My posts are exactly as they are, nothing extra or hidden. @AshAsh1 and a bunch of others can attest. I also don't assume anything, I provide facts and figures where possible, if it's something I'm writing that is personally something I've experienced, that's as far as it goes. I don't typically speak for someone else's experience.
  10. Sorry for the dups... I reported them all and requested deletion... not sure what happened there!
  11. I know you didn't ask me directly, but I figured I'd answer. I've been a daily weigher since surgery. I decided to try the IF because, the stalls were getting longer and longer and harder to break doing my normal routine. And I was convinced to try it by the science, I believe @GreenTealael posted the video, it just made perfect, logical sense. So, since it's free, I gave it a go, and only 3 days in, it does seem to be working.
  12. Congrats and welcome to the Losers Bench! Her callout says she had the sleeve, and the leak test *generally* is for sleeve only as well.
  13. My comment wasn't directed at you at all. My comment was, "this is my answer whenever someone states that impedance measurements aren't accurate." That it's more for tracking the BF % loss as a trend. I've had my Aria since they came out and love it. Not sure where all the extra salt is coming from, nothing I stated was anything other than facts and my personal account. Nothing was directed at you personally at all.
  14. That's exactly my rebuttal, it's to track trends. It doesn't matter what the number is, if the number is constantly decreasing, you know you are losing fat.
  15. The Aria is very sensitive to being moved/picked up. FitBit advises that you don't pick it up once you've placed it, and if you do pick it up or move it too much, they suggest you take 5 consecutive weights to allow it to re-calibrate.
  16. Still trucking along this week. No major "violations" or slip ups... it's getting much easier to extend past the 6pm - 8am fasting hours at this point. Stall broke, weight's starting to slide off again. I've got 27 lbs to shed in the next 61 days to meet my dream goal of being the weight I was when I was 20, when I turn 40 (and being the same weight I was when I was married 20 years ago)
  17. Just keep trying things and retrying things that were problems... lots of changes can happen while you are healing.
  18. Some folks develop texture and temperature issues with water. Try changing the temp of your water or adding some flavors (because oddly enough this changes the "texture")
  19. Good Luck! Just remember when it gets harder, and it more than likely will, just focus on all the reasons you want the surgery and keep strong!
  20. What's OT mean in this instance? And thank you!
  21. I've been able to eat more than 1 cup much sooner than "normal". But this is where the "every single WLS is different" comes into play. No one has the same surgery, not even twins having the same surgery on the same day by the same doctor would have the same exact surgery, pouch size, weight loss speed, etc etc etc. As long as you are following your diet, aren't having any issues, are satisfied with the amounts you are instructed to eat, aren't binging or otherwise sabotaging yourself... then this is 100% a non-issue.
  22. Some do, some done. This is 100% a case by case thing. For me, I had gallstones before bypass, so I didn't need to take any of the gallstone medication. My stones were not severe enough to warrant removal of my gallbladder. So far, just shy of 6 months out, no issues with my gallbladder. So, if things keep working out this way, I won't have to have it removed. But there are folks that do have to have it removed during surgery and some folks have to have it removed after surgery.
  23. Totally normal, as you heal up, "full" sensations can change. As far as loss speeds... do yourself a favor and stop worrying about this now. No one loses at the same rate, so being worried about speed of loss or comparing yourself to someone else is just daft. Worry about what you can control, and that's your intake, exercise, and how well you are following your doctors orders.
