  6. I did this recipe - I didn't use the fruit, just made the jello/yogurt mix. Very good! I used sf cherry Jello and sf vanilla torani syrup. http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2010/05/fluff-stuff.html
  7. So glad you are all doing so well!
  8. Hi curvy! I am August 8th myself. I am very excited! I have found some good protein shakes but they wouldn't work for someone lactose intolerant. In you add biotin to you vitamin regiment that is supposed to help with hair loss. And my opinion is I would take lose skin over fat and not being able to breathe! I was starting to get winded myself.
  9. My doctor says if at all possible take 4 weeks as you aren't just having surgery on your body but your whole mind has to rearrange your behaviors.
  10. oh haha - see where under yours it says newbie? the more comments and posts you have your "title" changes
  11. It finally hit me today - my pre-op is low FAT LOL I been looking at all the carbs and thinking ugh - totally missed where I am only eating like 6 grams of fat a day!!
  12. my diet allows me all non starchy veggies as well as potein drinks so I would think you are fine!
  13. that is so awesome! congrats and best of luck in college!
  14. i've started packing a little also - we are told to bring our own protein just in case we don't like what the hospital has. I also packed some mixins to flavor water if needed. I also packed a light robe, sleep shorts, carmex, gas-x. Planning to pack my laptop, nook, slippers also. Planning of course my tooth brush and hair brush - because just feeling a little "put together" makes me feel better. Paper and pen - for any notes. I have to take my program book with me also. My stay is 2-3 nights so I think it is a little longer than some.
  15. I don't even know what day it is anymore LOL I guess maybe day10? I am having a hard time getting my calories in - my diet is low fat (super low like 6 grams a day) and high protein - I am not a sweet eater except a few of my faves - I am sick of jello and pudding! Veggies have so few calories! I have been ending my day at like 700 calories and supposed to be near 1000. Ugh. Flip side is I'm not hungry anymore! Can't wait to be on the other side so I can have some meat!!
  16. Julie, best of luck!!
  17. Jitters I guess! Sounds normal - I am pretty sure I will be running around sunday night in a nervous state - I have my list going and have packed a few things - I know I will forget something! Getting new tires because I am sure the one bad one is going to wait til Monday morning to give me trouble! Hang in there, I think it's normal!!
