  1. Thanks again for a wonderful read, you never cease to amaze me! Funny but truthfull!
  2. I hate to say it but I am married to my scale, I weigh every am. I am ok with that, I dont get too frustrated with a lb or two either direction.
  3. It is going to happen, some are worse than others but I wouldnt worry about it, stress can cause it too! I have thin hair and I am experiencing hair loss now. It is frustrating but it does grow back and I am healthier that I have been since I was a teen...I can deal with it. Just make sure to drink your water and get your protein in....
  4. Good for you! I started Zumba 2 weeks ago....love it! Keep up the good work, it does pay off for sure.
  5. Yaaay Geno, best of luck to you!
  6. Justme, I really didnt have any issues, hopefully you wont either. Just keep an open mind and be strong, you can do this. I was terrified but the day I went home I was pleasantly surprised when I felt great. Just make sure to get your water in and walk as much as you can. Best of luck to you.
  7. Hello and welcome! Just start reading everything you can, read as many forums as you can, it helped me alot. It is scary but I would do it all over again! Good luck!
  8. Congrats, it will go fast and you will be here with us on the loser bench!
  9. Oh yes, and the hair loss...sucks! I just started with it about a month ago, it is kinda freakin me out since I have fine hair. Hopefully it will slow for us soon cause it seems like I am losing alot!
  10. Yaaay! So happy for you! I am 4 1/2 months out, down 70 lbs. I also went from a size 20 to a 12...yaaay us! I am trying for another 35 lbs..... Again congrats to you, keep up the fantastic work!
  11. Only 24 hours...thank goodness! Hopefully you can go home soon!
  12. Yaaay, you will be happy with your choice, I know I am! You can do this, dont give up...look at the big picture. The liquid diets are hell for sure but keep the faith...hugs to you!
  13. Great job...you can do this!
  14. Yes, Isopure does count...I hated them tho. I tried several flavors...yuk. I did better with crystal light. Yes, it was hard not to chug...trust me, you will know when you drank too much. I am sometimes thirsty but not too often. It takes a major adjustment but you can do it...we all are! Good luck!
  15. Yaaaaay! So happy for you! Keep up the good work!
  16. I started after my 2 week appt. Can you put them in his water/protein drink?
  17. No sliders for me either and I am 17 weeks out. I am glad!!!
  18. Glad to hear you are doing fantastic. Keep up the good work and enjoy your walk!
  19. I hoped I would be thin again...and I am 2/3 of the way in 4 months. I was always a healthy girl, not fat but with curves, kinda like Anna Nicole Smith was when she was a Guess girl. I want to be there again...35 more lbs to go!
  20. Yaaay...you are doing fantastic, keep up the good work!
  21. Best of luck to you both! May the time fly by for you!
  22. Sorry about your issue but the 32 lbs is amazing...congrats! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
  23. Yaaay! So happy for you, keep us posted!
  24. First thing...dont be so hard on yourself, you are down 35 lbs right? Sure, it isnt as fast as some of us but like they say...everyone is different. You seem to have a lot less to lose than most and sometimes weight loss is just slow...I know it sucks but look at the positives, less saggy skin, not having to buy new clothes every month etc. How much are your eating? How about water intake? I lost really quickly but now it is slowing the last 35 for me too. I try to mix it up, add more calories, change the workout routine when I have a stall and it seems to work. Best of luck to you and be easy on yourself, stress doesnt help weight loss either. Hugs to you!
  25. I completely understand and have been there. I have no problem telling them to bring me a to-go box right away with my meal and explaining why. I go home with 3-4 more meals, I am a cheap date! I tell everyone I can about my surgery, keeps them from wondering if something was "wrong" with the food.
