I am scheduled for July 16th. Now the waiting begins.

Congratulations! My family 'sort of' knew, but I didn't tell my own mom until the week before my surgery date. I just didn't want her to worry since she was against the idea of it when I first mentioned it to her a few month before.

_{I have been waiting more because I didn't want something to happen and then go back and say "not happening". I'd have to explain it a bunch of times so I figured it would be easier to just do it all at once and I can tell my whole family at the same time rather than six separate phone calls.}

Add: Everybody now knows and I have 100% support. My Mom wanted to cry, but held it together. Looking forward to the 16th.
