so today i met with my Bariatric doctor and we went over my food journal..yea not the best but its a work in progress..learn from your mistakes right? so anyway..let me back up and explain somethings..i had started this journey in october with the seminar then November with the consult..then i lost my car and wasnt able to get to appt's so skip to April, got the bloodwork they needed taken and had another appt in May and now the one today..along with another consult with the Psychiatrist (since it had been since November since i saw her)..so my insurance requires a 6 mon study .(I have Anthem blue cross/blue shield of GA) .i was hoping to bypass that since i tech hadnt been there every month for 6 but a combined amount..well when i called the surgeon's office and spoke to the lady that handles the insurance..it has to be consecutive so now my 6 month journey will end in October..then we submit to insurance and hopefully get approved and be on my way to the losers bench..

so this is just a kink in my journey..i refuse to give up..

Good luck and hang in there. I hit the three-month mark as reqd by my insurance only to have a required cardiac clearance add two months to my timeline! I was hoping for late July now it looks like my WLS will be in September.

I know its hard to wait. I had to do 3 consecutive months and it seemed like torcher but let me tell you it is worth it..... you will have such success that this will all be just a memory in your new journey.
