  1. My Exwife explaned it good to me after she lost weight from gastric bypass surgery 13 years ago. She said she will always be a fat person and she sees herself as such. She said that she still dreamed about all the foods she enjoyed she aslo said when she looked in the mirror she still saw the fat woman in herself. Now that I have gone through this Lap Band I understand where she came from cause I see it somewhat the same way! As did She I get compliments all the time but I just don't see it!
  2. I drove home right from the Hospital!
  3. My Dr. makes everybody spend the night and am not allowed to even drink water. Also the Aides woke us up every couple of hours and made us walk around the floor for 15 minutes!

it is said that beer is a no no and I have drank a few since being banded! It really fills you up faster and gives me extreme gas! I do drink regular and have found that Vodka water with a sqeeze of lemon seems to be the best but, you will also get drunk way faster. I was a heavy beer drinker and could sit 8-12 hours drinking but now I can't drink more than 3 or 4 vodkas and I am definantly drunk!
  5. Interesting! I was banded on 30 June 2011 and have noticed an extreme difference with my drive. I am 50 and back out on the dating scene and have been with a nice gal for a couple weeks! I know she gets hers but if I get mine it is a very small amount!! I am down around 70 lbs so far. The tool works fine just not the product!
  6. Very Normal, I can even feel mine, Maybe it was sticked closer to my skin! Now I rub it all the time!! LOL Kinda like rubbing a Buddah belly for good luck
  7. I had gotten the Unjury Chicken Soup flavor protein powder, and blended it with veggies
  8. I ordered an unflavored Protein powder on line from a company called unjury, I then mixxed the powder with crystal light or fat free Jello the product came in 3 days http://www.unjury.com/store/protein/

  13. I now weigh in every day as advised by the Doctor! I had went for my last fill and gained 2 lbs and she asked me if I weigh in? I said I do not as I donot want to be obsessed by it! She said weigh in every day! Well I don't have a scale at home so I weigh on a product scale at work and subtract the weight of close and boots!

I was being sarcastic but as such My 10 may or may not be the same as yours or anybody else! My first wife was a large woman and to me she was a 10 and after her gastric bypass even with flabby skin she was my 10! I personally like larger women but have been with big boobed small wasted blondes (so to say) that would in others eyes be a 10 but to me would be a 7!

  16. After going through a Divorce I have been drinking Steady for about 3 months. I nrmally Drink Vodka Water with a Squeeze of Lemon. But I am a very cheap date! Beer Makes me have gas so I do not do that anymore!
  17. That is right! I had to do a sleep study and a EndoScopy to asure that I did have Sleep Apnea and Gird! and then was approved 1st time! But I was also over 100lbs over weight.
  18. Wendys Chilli!!!!
  19. I don't like chicken all that much but I have a Problem with Ham!!
  20. I am Retired From Marine Corps in Yuma AZ and had no problem with Triwest! In fact I was approved 1st time twice before I was banded. I had to do a sleep study and Upper GI endoscopy as well as a nutrition class. I did not have a six month thing to deal with just a refferal from my Primary Doc that happens to be on base also!

  23. My first wife got Gastric Bypass in 98, me being in the Military was unable to support her throughout her surgery and recovery as I was deployed overseas. When I came home I could hardly Recognize her! She looked Beautiful BUT apparently other men thought she looked beautiful. A year later I deploy again upon return our marriage lasted another 6 months and we eventually divorced. we was married just shy of 18 years and had 3 children and knew each other since the 3rd grade. Yes I was Jelalous not because of the weight loss (I was very Proud of her) but from the attention she gave others. Now that I have had the Band I am now divorced for the second time but that has nothing to do with Jealousy on my part but rather hers. Its a rough world out there.
