OMG, i am starving, after having 1cc put in,How long do you wait to eat soft foods, after fill, they always have me on liquids for 2 days, then Soft Food For 2 days????? Do you Comply with This?

I absolutely comply with this, but my dr says I can have as many Protein shakes that I want for the first two days. My schedule goes like this: Monday is a fill with liquids the rest of the day Monday, Tuesday is liquids all day. Wednesday and Thursday mushies and Friday back to regular food. I'm not messing with this schedule because I don't want to screw anything up or get anything stuck because your stomach will be swollen after a fill and may not tolerate regular food for a while.

I was starving after my fill yesterday. I got a can of broccoli cheese soup, added some water and put it in the blender before heating it up for dinner last night.

Thanks for all ur comments. I'm getting my first fill in 2weeks and I'm afraid. I have lost 26 pounds since my last pre-op weight. I want to continue losing and I want to do everything right.

I did one day liquid and one day mushies and it always went fine...

^{I have had a few bad experiences after and before fills??? but i didnt know no better till i asked the doctor why is it the day of the fill im able to eat anything with no rectrictions and the next day i feel so awful that i cant even swallow!!! that use to be more! lol....}

My dr differs from most. He just has me do Liquids for 24 hours after the fill then back to normal. I've never had an issue so I haven't inquired why he is so different.
