Bedding Hotties.

Recommended Posts

This question is for single men who have lost a great deal of weight. If you were thinner in your youth and used to get laid a lot, even better.

Plain and simple; does being thin have a large impact on your ability to bed hot chicks?

See, I have heard all the stuff about how you have to be confident and know how to talk to them and all that. Not only have I heard it, but I used to teach guys how to pick up women. What I found is that no matter how good your game, there is no way you are going to bed 10s unless you are thin.

Now in fairness, if you are thin and just a chode when it comes to chatting up girls you may benefit greatly from learning good game. But, I hold that you can have the best game in the world and will still be hard pressed to get the 9s and 10s if you are fat.

I know there have to be other guys for whom weight was the limiting factor.

Please share your success stories.

Oh and for all you women - Let me save you the trouble by saying "yes I'm a pig and I know it."

I'm curious about this too. I have massive amounts of game but it doesn't work when uh, you're massive also.

I can add a little to this topic. My weight is about 75-100 lbs. higher than most people thinking because of my build (6' 3"). I know that when I went from 380 lbs. to 298 lbs. on Adkins, I went from being invisible in bars to being able to bed some pretty attractive women (6's-7's out of 10). But I also know that over a certain weight (in my case 320), I became invisible again. So sitting here at 367 about to get banded soon, I'm looking forward to getting some 9's and 10's (and a good smart, nice wife) at 235 lbs.

On a side note, I hang out with the most incredible looking woman I've ever seen. She is about 10 years younger and looks like a cross between Angelina Jolie and Katie Holmes. She turns heads wherever she goes (male and female). I can see other merely hot women give her the 'damn, I'd hit that' look. I'm hopeful that I can actually make something happen there after 4 years in the friendzone (nobody scores in the friendzone).

After 4 years as friends I'd probably focus on going out with her and having her help you meet girls. Being with a hot girl increases your value big time. Just make sure she "appears" into you. That's the best tool a guy can have.

Ok guys - I know I shouldn't chime in here because I'm a girl but I have to. I have three older brothers and well...I'm a girl, so I can help you a bit. (Just don't judge the fat girl, ok?) LOL!

I have a lot of friends that are gorgeous - I work with one that is a total 10 and we always chat about guys since she's single and looking to mingle. I've been happily married for years, so I'm one of those girls that just likes to help a brother out. I really truly honestly (and I'm not making this up) think that you can have game as a bigger guy just as well as you can as a thinner guy. Here is why:

Girls like guys who are funny, make them laugh and have some sort of charisma to them. Think about Kevin James. (King of Queens) He's not a small guy. But, you would not believe the really gorgeous women that I know who think he's totally hot. Reason why? He's funny, confident and has that "guy next door" charm. Girls love men who are attentive, who aren't trying too hard to impress, who aren't complete douchebags (and when I say that, oftentimes those stick-thin guys wearing their Ray Ban aviators walking like they are hot with their ascots - yea - these girls think they're total douchebags)

Also - regarding your friend that you have the hots for. What is stopping you now? Is it YOU stopping you because you don't feel worthy, or is it her telling you that she doesn't like you for anything but a friend? Because if it's YOU thinking she might not be that into you, you could be wrong and she might be regardless of your size. She might love your personality and those are the type of chemical things that attract women to men. (I know - it's not a men to women thing - guys are much more visual, but I'm being completely honest here) Girls are just wired differently. Think about ugly, thin men, too. Ever see a totally ugly guy with a girl and think to yourself "what's he got?" Well, I'd say 9 times out of 10, it has to be some sort of personality trait that she ADORES.

Sorry to jump in here and "girl it up" but I didn't want you guys beating yourself up over something that is probably not as accurate as it may appear. I've seen my gorgeous 10 friend talk to guys that were hot on the outside and she ended up thinking they were total jerks, whereas I have seen her go on a few dates with a guy that was average (and a big guy, probably 6'0, 300+ lbs) and she had WAY more fun and was way into him.

Don't flame me.

Ginger, that's pretty much the stock response from girls. The problem is that what women say and what they do are completely different. I'd bet dollars to dough nuts that your gorgeous friends that think the thin guys are jerks and the other ones are great guys is having sex with the thin jerks and not the others.

While it is true that women are not attracted in the same way men are, it is a mistake to think physical attributes don't play into it. Unfortunately, being over weight caries with it a negative social stigma and the last thing hot women want is to date low on the social totem pole. Note your example of the celebrity who plays the husband of a hot woman on TV. It is his celebrity status and the perception of value that comes from his hot TV wife that makes him attractive. It's called "social proof."

Women are into looks, just not in the same way men are. Women are into masculine facial features and tall thin men even if they are not "good looking" in the traditional feminine sense.

But again, what women think they want in a guy and what they actually go for are two completely different things.

I do agree that a lot of girls (and I mean A LOT) make poor choices when it comes to guys, but I do know for a fact that the girl that I work with (We're talking 5'7", 120 lbs, blonde - STUNNING girl) was sleeping with the heavier set guy and she said sex with him was great. I didn't go into details with her but she did say they had a lot of "fun in bed". Maybe she's more of a special case and not the norm, but she did sleep with him more than once.

The one thing I will say (and please do NOT kill the messenger) is that I have had a few girlfriends talk about how their partners lost weight and their "package" looked bigger when they were thinner. Not sure what that is about, but I have heard that.

Either way, I think that sex is sort of like pizza. Even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. LOL!

Well, I think thinner guys can get the 9's and 10's us fat guys typically dont. It has to do with physical attraction first. If she is not attracted to you, you at best will be considered "friend" material.

I am married, but spend a lot of time at a local bar. Last night, I was talking to a friend I have known for 25 yrs. She is easily a 9. And she was so into me last night. She was totally hitting on me and even proposed going out to dinner. She told me I look great........ since the weight loss, etc. A total NSV for me. and no! I will not act upon this. But it sure felt good!

As far as what Ginger said about the jerks, we will have the advantage! we will truely appreciate our women and wont be stuck up! So when You finally bed your hottie, You will be able to keep her!

 You're kidding, right? :yesnod:

I'll take your word for it that you're a pig. Don't you think any woman worth knowing is gonna notice you have the depth and compassion of a sidewalk and bounce you right back into the sty?

Oh, my aching tummy. Thanks for the best laugh I've had all day. :sneaky:

Just remember, it doesn't matter how thin you are if you're still a complete douchebag.

For the Women hanging out in the "mens room"...........

Edub may have some self-confidence issues and thats not fair to call names!!!! And before I was married.....The larger I got, The more often I would get shot down!!! Women can be pretty shallow especially when they are very pretty on the outside. You bring up Kevin James who is an awesome guy. But not every pudgy or fat guy has that confidence or style. And quite frankly, I dont believe for a God D*** moment you have never looked at a guy (slim, well built, nice face and smile) and said "oh yes" and then thought....but he wont like me. Its reality for all of us who have weight issues. His question asked in the "Mens Room", may have been put in better terms had this been in a different forum. I think it was meant to be "guy talk" in a slightly funnier way!

I agree with Joecs1 and the other guys, although women say they want a nice guy they seem to drift towards the slim jerks that treat them like crap.

I'm sorry I can't disagree with ebud. No amount of game will mean I'll sleep with someone really overweight. Attraction is important, even to women. I'm no 9 or 10 but I'm not half bad and I will chose the thin jerk over and over again. I'm not going to pretend to be less superficial just coz I'm a woman. Just as he desires a hot body, so do I.

So I guess after gastric bypass surgery, I cant eat flock chips because they are fried???  They sell them on here so I thought I could have them. So high in protein and no carbs.  They don't bother me at all.  Help.

It's possible for a very high fat meal to cause dumping in some (30% or so) gastric bypass patients, although it's more likely to be triggered by high sugar, or by the high fat/high sugar combo (think ice cream, donuts). Dietitians will tell you to never do anything that isn't 100% healthy ever again. Realistically, you should aim for a good balance of protein, carbs, and fat each day. Should you eat fried foods every day? No. Is it possible they will make you sick? Maybe. Is it okay to eat some to see what happens and have them for a treat every now and again? Yes.

I'm not at all hungry on this liquid pre-op diet, but I miss the sensation of chewing. It's been about two weeks––surgery is in two days––and I can't imagine how I'll feel a couple of weeks post-op. Tonight, I randomly stumbled upon a mukbang channel on YouTube, and it was strangely soothing... is it just me, or is this a thing?

I actually watched cooking shows during my pre-op, like Great British Baking Show. It was a little bizarre, but didn't make me hungry. I think it was also soothing in a way.

How do you figure out what your ideal weight should be? I've had a figure in my head for years, but after 3 mths of recovery I'm already almost there. So maybe my goal should be lower?

      1. NickelChip

Well, there is actually a formula for "Ideal Body Weight" and you can use a calculator to figure it out for you. This one also does an adjusted weight for a person who starts out overweight or obese. https://www.mdcalc.com/calc/68/ideal-body-weight-adjusted-body-weight

I would use that as a starting point, and then just see how you feel as you lose. How you look and feel is more important than a number.

      2. Clueless_girl

I did find different calculators but I couldn't find any that accounted for body frame. But you're right, it is just a number. It was just disheartening to see that although I lost 60% of my excess weight, it's still not in the "normal/healthy" range..

      3. NickelChip

I think it's important to remember that the weight charts and BMI ranges were developed a very long time ago and only intended to be applied to people who have never been overweight or obese. Those numbers aren't for us. When you are larger, especially for a long time, your body develops extra bone to support the weight. Your organs get a little bigger to handle the extra mass. Your entire infrastructure increases so you can support and function with the extra weight. That doesn't all go away just because you burn off the excess fat. If you still had a pair of jeans from your skinniest point in life and then lost weight to get to the exact number on the scale you were when those jeans fit you, chances are they would be a little baggy now because you would actually be thinner than you were, even though the scale and the BMI chart disagree. When in doubt, listen to the jeans, not the scale!

Tomorrow marks two weeks since surgery day and while I'm feeling remarkably well and going about just about every normal activity, I did wind up with a surface abscess on on of my incision sights and was put on an antibiotic that made me so impacted that it took me more than two hours to eliminate yesterday and scared the hell out of me. Now there's Miralax in all my beverages that aren't Smooth Move tea. I cannot experience that again. I shouldn't have to take Ativan to go to the lady's. I really looking forward to my body getting with the program again.
I'm in day three of the "puree" stage of eating and despite the strange textures, all of the savory flavors seem decadent.
I timed this surgery so that I'd be recovering during my spring break. That was a good plan. Today is a state holiday and the final day of break. I feel really strong to return to school tomorrow.

Now that I'm in maintenance mode, I'm getting a into a routine for my meals. Every day, I start out with 8-16 ounces of water, and then a proffee, which I have come to look forward to even the night before. My proffees are simply a black coffee with a protein powder added. There are three products that I cycle through: Premier Vanilla, Orgain Vanilla, and Dymatize Vanilla.
For second breakfast on workdays, I will have a low-fat yogurt with two tablespoons of PBFit and two teaspoons of no sugar added dried cherries. I will have ingested 35-45 grams of protein at this point between the two breakfasts, with 250-285 calories, and about 20 carbs.
For second breakfast on non-workdays, I will prepare two servings of plain, instant oatmeal with a tablespoon of an olive oil-based spread. This means I will have had 34 grams of protein, 365 calories, and 38 carbs. Non-workdays are when I am being very active with training sessions, so I allow myself more carbohydrate fuel.
Snacks on any day are always mixed nuts, even when I am travelling. I will have 0.2 cups of a blend that I make myself. It consists of dry roasted peanuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, pistachios, and Brazil nuts. This is 5 grams of protein, 163 calories, and 7 carbs.
Breakfast and snacks have been the easiest to nail down. Lunch and dinner have more variables, and I prepare enough for leftovers. I concentrate on protein first, and then add vegetables. Typically tempeh, tofu, or Field Roast products with roasted or sautéed vegetables. Today, I will be eating leftovers from last night. Two ounces of tempeh with four ounces of roasted vegetables that consist of red and yellow sweet peppers, sweet potatoes, small purple potatoes, zucchini, and carrots. I will add a tablespoon of olive oil-based spread, break up 3 walnuts to sprinkle of top, and garnish with two tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese. This particular meal will be 19 grams of protein, 377 calories, and 28 grams of carbs. Bear in mind that I do eat more carbs when I am not working, and I focus on ingesting healthy carbs instead of breads/crackers/chips/crisps.
It's a helluva journey and I'm thankful to be on it!
