  5. Wow! You are doing so awesome! I love this site, because it helps so many people, so I'm happy to help in anyway I can, as others have helped me . When I saw Dr. Zane at my post op on Thursday he looked so tired and when I was in the hospital (Friday-Monday) he came to see me everyday, I asked him "don't you ever take a day off?", he just laughed and said he had to check on his patients to make sure they were all alright . So I would say yes to that gift .

  11. I was hooked to my venti caramel light frap with sugar free carmael and no whip, with a dome lid LOL, my startbucks peep knew me by name and always had my order ready. I tried a tall and eeewww it was nasty. I'm kinda glad I don't like it anymore, I can save some money now :001_tongue:. Oh and now I love purple/grape popsickles, never cared for them before, now they are my favorite...go figure LOL!
  12. O wow! Let me ask you a question. How do you get to the point of over doing it? If I eat anything too fast I start to feel pain :001_tongue:...I'm just asking because I hate puking, and I don't want to ever get there ...Thanks!

  16. Today is my 14 days out and the FIRST day I feel normal again. I went to my post op appt just YESTERDAY and came home and went to bed, I could only go out every few days for an hour at the most, I was so tired. I don't know what happened from yesterday to today, but I haven't laid down once today WHOO HOO! Everyone here kept saying it will get better with time, and it did .
  17. Yes, yes, yes! I remember crying in the hospital wondering "what did I do?" LOL (it wasn't funny then), but I'm so glad for you and others who were here to support me:crying: sniff sniff thanks again Mini :-) I just realized I didn't take my pepcid ac today (I just forgot) do you think that has anything to do with it???

  19. GREAT! I feel like myself again! I'm so happy! The next 2 weeks I'm going to start walking more and hopefully start exercising :-). Thanks to all for you're encouraging words, and you were RIGHT it does get better with time:001_wub:.

  21. OK in my options classes we were told no straws and I just had my post op appt yesterday and my surgeon said OK to use a straw now, go figure. So I would say don't use a straw initially but then gradually move to using one (I guess LoL).
  22. That's my question!!! What if I lose a lot but slowly will it make a difference in hair loss? I'm 2 weeks out and have only lost 9 lbs. And my surgeon said I will only lose 1-2 lbs per week, so will I still lose my hair????
  23. Me too! But after day 3 I wanted them OFF LOL! I'm so happy you're doing so well yayyyyyyy!!!!!!!
  24. I'm 13 days out! YES I had that horrible pain you are speaking of. I even had to spend an extra night in the hospital because I wasn't getting enough fluids in because of the pain. I can tell you it does go away, but it takes time. It finally went away for me this week.
