  1. Also thanks so much for the many messages of support and love...hugs <3 to all!
  2. I LIIIIIIIIVE (little dragon from Mulan :-) !!! Oh my peeps:rolleyes:! OMGOSH! Today is the first day I feel pretty good. I made myself get dressed and my mother took me to run a few errands so I could get some walking in. This journey started off super rough for me. Today I was finally able to get more fluids in and even started taking my Vitamins. It's so difficult getting fluids in when you have pain and having a messed up long scratched up uvula doesn't help (it's so gross I tell you)...But I'm doing it slowly but surely. I really don't think I was mentally prepared as to how little I would actually be able to take in. It's not that I'm hungry at all, but it's the pressure that I know that I have to get fluids in or end up back in the hospital :confused1:. Besides the gas, messed up uvula and not getting fluids in, one of my staples (holding up a good chunk of fat) on my stomach is super sore (I'm still swollen inside and out). The good news is I know this time will pass and I'm praying that everyday WILL get better, I know it will:biggrin2:.
  3. I hope you can see this, still using my BlackBerry. I'm going home today. Everyone has been nice here but I can't wait to go home sniff sniff...
  4. Ok my surgeon just told me he's keeping me another day because I'm not getting enough fluids in. I told him it hurts to drink and he said that should not be happening, so we are going to work on this today...I don't know how people say they are out shopping 1 day after surgery, that is truly amazing. My uvula got pretty beat up too during the surgery, did this happen to anyone else? I can literally feel it hanging at the back of my throat, SO GROSS! Anyway, I'm hopeful for a better day today, and I will try and drink more and walk more :-) hugs...
  5. OMGOSH! So much to tell! I'm using my blackberry to post this :-)...I'm still here in the hospital and trying to deal with this terrible gas...yesterday was super tough, I was so out of it (on morphine all day) lol. Today is much better but still painful, some of these pains are worse than labor pains (for me anyway). I had something really scarry happen to me on Thursday the night before my surgery. I found a large lump on my left breast :-(. My surgeon was able to get a biopsy during the sleeve. He said it wasn't a cyst and would have to be surgically removed. He also said the biopsy didn't look like cancer, so that was good news. Anyway, I think I may be released tomorrow. I will post another update once I get home. Please keep me in your prayers :-)...hugs.
