  1. so happy to hear you are doing well :-)
  2. I'm so happy we serve a God who is full of mercy, grace, and forgiveness, and He is also our healer. He is our refuge and strength in times of trouble. Praying for your healing.
  3. NannyG thank you so much for your post. I"ve heard so much about that book by Jentzen Franklin. I totally need to get it. P.s. I'm so sorry for your precious loss:sad0:
  4. Hellooooooo there! How are you?????
  5. I'm sure it will get better for you sparkle! You are doing an amazing job:thumbup:
  6. What an inspiration! I am sooooo happy for YOU! YOU GO GIRL!!! You DID IT! Yayyyy! I pray I join you soooon!
  7. YOU CAN DO IT! It was soooo hard for me. I was out of control...I even did 1 week of Atkins just to detox from the sugar. That helped me to cut down the portions and I added the Protein shakes to the mix. I KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS!!! :scared0:
  8. From everything I've read, you are going to be fine...this too shall pass :-) and you will be a healthy and happy new you :-) yayyyy!
  9. Too funny...I remember thinking O wow I'm so glad I just had knee surgery (had to miss the first 2 classes) so they could see my crutches to see that I NEED THIS hahahaha! And then when I had to wear my brace, I would think boy I hope they can see it LOL! Yes, you are going to be fine, no worries:biggrin0:.
  10. OMGosh! YOU ARE HILARIOUS! HAHAHAHA! And sound totally like me!! They tell EVERYONE they may not be approved...I didn't really actually believe I got through until a year later (this past June) when I finally went to the seminar where we met with the surgeons, since they always repeated "you may not get approved" over and over and over. I'm not saying it's 100% for sure for everyone, but I think they just really want you to be serious about the classes, surgery etc. And by the way I took my weight watcher logs as well, and they didn't even look at them :-( ...but you should still take yours just in case lol. But seriously I think once you get this far, your good.
  11. Mini you are going to make me cry...THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK 2 days sounds good to me now LOL! I was happy to find out that I can have smoothies yay!!! I can only pray for stats as awesome as yours yayyyy!
  12. OK my surgeon said he would not be repairing my hital hernia during the sleeve. He said its basically out of the way, where he will be working and that if I was having the gastric bypass he would do it. I'm fine with it :-)
  13. I don't know where to begin... OK my appointment was scheduled for 11am, and we were checked in by 10am (we left home early in case there was traffic), and were in by 10:15am (they said they loved when patients arrive early). And it was a good thing, because Dr. Zane got an emergency call for surgery on a lap band case, but was still able to see me, since I was so early...As he was going over my medical notes he thanked me for losing weight and then said he rarely gets to say that:redface1: to any of his patients, OK I almost cried:crying: it made making the right eating choices lately worth it all. I told him I kept hearing his voice say don't gain and try to lose LOL! I had some blood work done along with another EKG and gave a urine sample. Most importantly I found out that I start the all liquid diet next Wednesday August 26th 2 days before my surgery, and that I would remain on a liquid diet until September 9th when I go for my post-op appointment YIKES :scared0: LOL! I'm excited and nervous and happy at the same time:thumbup:
  14. Are you scheduled at Harbor City???? Maybe I will see you there :-)...Today is my pre-op appointment, I'm so excited.
  15. On another note...today is my pre-op appointment and I'm super excited:thumbup:...have a great day everyone!!!
  16. Amen:crying:...this site is a support group to me and I originally wrote this post for support, and to help others that may be feeling the same way. I sincerely apologize for offending anyone:crying:. Luv you all...
  17. The original post "feeling guilty" was meant for those who could relate. If it sounded "dumb" to you , it was not meant for you (since you don't relate). By the way WLS surgery has nothing to do with being Christian BUT self-control has tons to do with being a Christian:biggrin0:...
  18. Ok Lovinlife and Dansha I will say a prayer for both of you :-) Yayyyy!
