  2. You know it's so difficult for me to imagine being a 12 or smaller lol!!!! I have some items that are large 14's, but I haven't been a 12 for a looooooooooooong time, that would be incredible...sniff sniff. I will ask David's Bridal about letting out and if I feel there's not enough to let out, I will just order the 14 and tailor:thumbup:... Thanks for the 411. AND stay tuned I will post an "after" picture of me in the dress at the wedding:001_smile:.
  3. That's what I'm talkin about:thumbup1: You go girls!!!
  4. Ok y'all I know everyone is different when it comes to weight loss, but I need your help! I'm in a wedding November 20th and I'm having the sleeve done on August 27th...I tried on the bridesmaid dress tonight and the size 16 fit perfect! What size do you think I should order??? I won't hold you to it, I PROMISE:biggrin0:!!! I'm thinking a 14:confused1:??? Thank you!!!!
  5. I'm confused...I drink already made protein shakes from Sam's Club/Costco and they taste pretty good. They have 30 grams of protein in each shake. Are the already made type of shakes not acceptable? Do we have to drink the powder type protein after surgery??? help!!!
  6. So happy to hear that. Thanks so much for your post Bambi!
  7. Hi Lisa! Welcome! This site is the best!
  8. I guess I'll be the first, I'm 42:thumbup: whoo hoo! And I can't wait for the day I FINALLY have a "Normal" BMI and finish my 40's better than ever:001_smile:
  9. OMG! I'm SOOOO HAPPY someone asked this question hahaha! I usually start every 28 days on the dot! But this month out of ALL months I started 2 days late!!!! And that means I will be at the tail end of my period on the day of my surgery and I was freaking out lol! I love this site! SO helpful! Thanks to ALL!
  10. Yeah I'm sure my surgeon will want to fix it as well...but I will find out for sure at my preop and let you know:001_smile:
  11. Best wishes on a speedy recovery :-)
  12. Yikes:scared0:, that's what I was worried about! I was wondering if I should just leave it since excessive weight loss will basically help it anyway...I will discuss it will my surgeon at the preop...
  13. WOW! That's amazing! Congrats:thumbup:!
  14. I was having really bad upper stomach pains, went to ER and they told me I had an peptic ulcer. I requested an endoscopy from my primary to find out for sure and it wasn't an ulcer but in fact a hiatal hernia. That's how I found out. What was super interesting to me, was that the brochure they gave me on hiatal hernias mentioned that excessive weight loss will actually cure a hiatal hernia :-). Go Figure hahaha !
  15. I would have totally CRIED:crying:!!! I'm so happy for you sniff, sniff...then I would have screamed for JOY:lol0: lol
  16. That is SO awesome! I'm SOOOO happy for you!
  17. I really want to try yoga once I lose some weight :-)
  18. Congrats Damora! My surgery is on August 27th too :-) whoo hoo!
  19. My surgeon said most people have a hiatal hernia and don't even know it. I have it and he said he will repair it during the surgery.
  20. Keep up the great work:thumbup1:
  21. That is wonderful! Whoo hoo for you!
  22. It takes about a year. I received my referral June 09. I finished Options the first week of April, and received my surgery date in June 10. It's a long process but I'm thankful for all the information Kaiser gives us. Do you know of another Kaiser patient who received their surgery within months of the referral:confused1:?
