  6. You are funny! Thanks for making me laugh! I haven't even tried to cross the Protein bridge yet. All I know is I LOVED the Protein shakes from costco and now I can't stand them. So I have no plan. I wish there was a powder that was tasteless and could go into anything ugh!
  7. Omgosh! I'm right with you with the gas pain! Good way of explaining it, I will have to use that LOL! I die every time I know I have to drink:crying:. I can't wait for the day there will be NO PAIN!
  8. Welcome home :-) I'm so happy everything went so smoothly for you...take it easy.
  9. So happy you're doing well luna :-)
  10. I had split pea soup for dinner last night and had my first BM a few hours later (6 days after surgery)...
  11. The BEST is yet to come . I've been married 20 years this October. I have an 18 yr old son, and 13 yr old daughter. I'm hoping by next October to be able to actually fit back into my wedding dress, that would feel SO awesome!
  12. I think I over did it yesterday. Last night was uncomfortable. I woke up at 2am for more liquid codine. And usually the one dose right before bed will keep me through the night. I will take it easy today :scared0:
  13. OK let's not stress ourselves out :scared0: that doesn't help. We will work at this and get it done together...eventually lol
  14. Thanks so much Breezy, I soooo appreciate it! Well I hit 199 today so that feels pretty good:thumbup:...
  15. And on top of that I found a pretty big lump on my left breast the night before the surgery, can you believe that??? But it worked out because Dr. Zane was able to get a biopsy while I was asleep. Thank you so much for your feedback I really need to hear it gets better:redface1:, I know it will.
  16. I'm with ya lil diva...1 pound to onederland! Maybe I will get there tomorrow:lol0:
  17. By the way these are NOT stupid or silly questions at all! I need help with the same questions:thumbup:
  18. OMGOSH! I'm right there with you with the pain! Mine feel like labor pains seriously! I need to get another type of liquid pain medication asap. Because they gave me tylenol with codine but it knocks me out and all I do is sleep, not good! I'm not even worried about protein right now, I'm just trying to get fluids and Vitamins in for now. I will cross the protein bridge at my post op appointment next week:redface1:, otherwise it's way toooooo overwhelming for me:frown1:.
  19. Awesome! Little by little:biggrin2:...I'm so happy you get reimbursed and hotel stay? that is wonderful! Good for you!
  20. I guess so...and he said he (anesthesiologist) was going to take care of me like his own family (?????) lol! I really want this to heal ASAP!
