  9. Wow that's so weird, because my surgeon said salad will go down pretty easy and that it was OK for me to eat it once I hit my 6 weeks...I wonder why information varies so much from surgeon to surgeon .
  10. Cream soups are good but I got tired of those really quick, and I usually just have a few spoons and I'm done. I'm not sure about the protein powder, one time I poured a whole scoop of vanilla whey protein (52 grams) in a sugar free vanilla pudding and FORCED myself to eat it LOL! It was like eating cake batter but worse, talk about gag LOL. It was hilarious!!!!
  11. Awwww your sweet! I just want to make sure I get out of the starvation mode or I will take longer too lose, plus my body will be sluggish :lol0:...its just super hard when your not hungry :biggrin0:

  15. Thanks so much for the 411 I really appreciate it! I will try it LOL! I'm not sure if I can do another shake though. I barely get the 1 in :001_wub:...where did you get unflavored protein???
  16. OK y'all I'm at the mushie stage and my surgeon said I should try to get at the very least 50 grams of Protein in daily. So that's the first thing I work on getting in everyday (along with the fluids). It's been pretty difficult for me because I HAVE NO HUNGER. So I could literally not eat AT ALL and be OK, but I know I can't do that. I need your help. Any suggestions on what I can add during my mushie stage?? I have 2 weeks left on it. This is basically what I have in a day: a Protein shake (30 grams of protein), greek yogurt (11-12 grams protein), egg, cheese stick, a few spoons of re-fried Beans w/cheese OR mashed potatoes. I drink Crystal Light and Water through out the day. I may add a sugar free pudding and my grape popsicles too the mix as well. I appreciate your help .
  17. Congrats on your awesome weight loss ...maybe you could donate your old clothes to a shelter?
  18. WOW that's awesome weight loss...I've only lost 10 lbs. in 20 days. So glad to hear you're feeling better too. Thankfully I haven't felt hunger AT ALL (thank God). I have to force myself to eat. I wish I could eat more (to fuel my body), but I just can't. I literally have to remind myself to eat, or I won't. My surgeon said for me to get in at least 50 grams of protein and that's what I'm doing, but I know I'm way under as far as calories go .
  19. Good news girlie ...from literally 1 day to the next made a HUGE difference for me. I'm glad you have more time to recover .
