I was banded 2/20/07, has anyone ate anything other than the clear liquid stuff and have you considered the cream soups as clear liquid? Confession: Ive tried brocolli cheese soup the pass two days, but now I emotionally feel horrible about it, from now on Im going to do my best to stay with the broth stuff until the clear liquid phase is done. Just wanted to vent since most of you all had your surgerys around the same time as me. Pls let me know how all of you are doing, what your eating, and when your eating?:help: How soon have all of you started exercising and is anyone going to curves?

Hello, Im now postop 2 and Im only allowed to have clear liquid stuff like broth not pudding or apple sauce, maybe these are too thick for you to handle right now. Did your dr recommend these items?

I've told them Im going to get my gallbladder and I'll be on a diet. its worked so far!

:phanvan That is horrible how you've been treated!! Sounds like your NP is a little against the lapband idea in general, which is unfortunate for you. Have you tried a different group? Your surgeon may be able to recommend you to a different Dr that will be on the same page as you!! I too have PCOS and fatty liver was diagnosed 4 yrs ago, were you able to have kids?

Did they use steristips, because you may be allergic to them if they did. By the way Im DooneyJC and I will be banded Feb 20th, Im very very nervous and trying really hard to stick to the pre-op diet. You guys have a wonderful support forum here, I've been reading through lots of your post and have learned a great deal of information, thanks!:clap2:

Ive tried the Curves protein chocolate shake and its pretty good.

How was your pre-surgery diet like, any suggestions. I just started mine today and Im still trying to find a broth that I like Im on the clear liquid diet for 10 days, what was yours.:hungry:

Hi everyone, I have been to the seminar and I've scheduled my initial appt with Dr. Srikanth in Washington, I was wondering what all of you had to pay for the pre-op labs, exam & consults. Also do you know what labs are required? I have read many of the forums you've all posted and you all sound very supportive of eachother, this is very encouraging!! Wish me luck!!:clap2:

I feel bad for you, its one thing to be in pain, its even worse when you have to sit through it in school! How did your follow up appt go? I am planning of getting a lapband sometime this year with Dr. Srikanth, any suggestions?
